Off campus boarding is the product of a specific period and a specific region.Due to the distance from home and the distance from their legal guardians,and the lack of standardized management system in the off campus boarding places,most of them have problems in self-management,which are manifested in the lack of self-discipline in life and the lack of conscious awareness and ability of self-management in learning.Self-management plays an important role in individual growth.The core requirement of quality education is to cultivate students' autonomy and subjectivity.As a special group,off campus boarding students have different characteristics in self-management from other students.It is also of special practical significance to cultivate the self-management of off campus boarding students.The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and problems of the self-management of the off campus boarding students through theoretical analysis and empirical research,in order to put forward some reference suggestions for the management of the boarding students,so as to promote the research of the management of the students.This study uses literature analysis method to analyze and summarize the existing literature of self-management,and puts forward research hypotheses.On this basis,from the seven aspects of goal,plan,way,motivation,emotion and result,a questionnaire for self-management of individual boarders in Haikou City was compiled,which was used as a tool to investigate 210 students,90 teachers and 90 parents of Xihu experimental school in Haikou City.Starting from the investigation of the self-management attitude of the boarding students outside the school and the investigation of the status quo of the result analysis,this paper analyzes the self-management of the goals,plans,ways,motives,emotions and results of the boarding students outside the school,and understands the current situation of the self-management of the boarding students outside the school in the junior middle school.The results show that:(1)in the aspect of goal management,most of the out of school boarding students have low evaluation on goal type,goal achievement and goal management ability;(2)from the perspective of motivation management,the understanding of self-management motivation of the out of school boarding junior high school students is basically blank,neither the basic motivation nor the general motivation has been considered;(3)from the perspective of plan In terms of management,the boarding junior high school students have not formed a systematic understanding of their own self-management plan,and their purpose is not clear;(4)in terms of emotional management,the boarding junior high school students' emotional management ability is not strong,and the influencing factors of managing emotions still account for a large proportion.In the junior high school stage just entering adolescence,the understanding and management of emotions in the school The boarding junior high school students are only at the beginning stage;(5)from the perspective of way management,the boarding junior high school students are not fully aware of the way of self-management in the important learning links,pay less attention to the good self-management way,and have no standard in choosing the self-management way that suits them;(6)from the perspective of the result of self-management,the boarding junior high school students are not well-educated The results of self-management and the ability of self-management results are not ideal,they lack some specific measures and practical methods for the management of self-management results;(7)from the perspective of the management of the off campus boarding point,the off campus boarding point does not play its due management role.At the same time,there are some hidden dangers.Further research found that the reasons for the problems of self-management of out of school boarding junior high school students can be divided into two aspects:(1)the lack of corresponding management concept of out of school boarding junior high school students,the current education concept is relatively traditional,and there is little discussion and analysis of the problems of self-management of out of school boarding junior high school students;(2)teachers,parents,and out of school boarding junior high school students pay less attention to self-management.This level can be divided into the following four aspects: 1.From the perspective of goals and plans,the boarding junior high school students outside the school have insufficient understanding of self-management;2 From the aspect of way and motivation,the management of out of school boarding junior high school students relies too much on teachers;3.From the aspect of emotion,teachers lack of self-management training for out of school boarding junior high school students;4.From the aspect of results and management of out of school boarding sites,the self-management problems of out of school boarding junior high school students are ignored by their own and their parents.The above reasons come from the questionnaire of students,teachers and parents about the self-management problems of boarding junior high school students outside the school.The difference between the three lies in that the students' questionnaire focuses more on the phenomenon of self-management problems of students in the province,while the teachers and parents only supplement the reasons for the phenomenon of learning to exist in self-management problems.This study shows that there are different degrees of problems in the six self-management factors of goals,plans,ways,motives,emotions and results.Parents and teachers' management supervision and strategic guidance to the students are the important external factors that affect their self-management ability.In order to improve the ability of self-management,we should start from the following four aspects:(1)strengthen the cultivation of the ability of self-management;1.Guide the off campus boarding junior high school students to establish their own goals and plans as early as possible;2.Help the off campus boarding junior high school students to establish a scientific and positive self-management motivation;3.Cultivate the off campus boarding junior high school students' bad management mood;4.Cultivate the off campus boarding junior high school students to master the scientific self-management mode;5.Guide the off campus boarding junior high school students to correctly use the results of self-management;2)change the teachers On the education concept of self-management;(3)improve the initiative of self-management of boarding junior high school students outside school;(4)change the concept that parents only pay attention to learning achievements.
