| Education is the foundation of a nation.With the development of economy and society,parents pay more and more attention to the education of their children.However,due to busy work,more and more parents have no time to take care of their children,and boarding has become the first choice for many parents.At the same time,along with the transformation of society,the state actively encourages the development of private schools.As a combination of education and market,private boarding schools have a beautiful campus environment,abundant educational resources and strict management methods,and have gradually become the mainstream of social forces.Junior high school students are in adolescence,with rapid physical and psychological changes,mood swings,and difficult to control.Students enrolled in private boarding schools live in a fully closed environment for a long time,away from their parents,neglect of communication,study longer,more pressure,this group’s psychology is more prone to a variety of problems,emotional management is more prominent,more should be concerned by all walks of life.In this study,junior high school students from three private boarding schools in H City,Shanxi Province were selected as the research objects,and a combination of questionnaire survey and interview survey was selected to study the current situation of emotional management ability of private boarding junior high school students from three dimensions: emotional perception,emotional expression and emotional regulation,so as to find problems,analyze the influencing factors,and propose countermeasures for improvement.Through the survey,it was found that the overall emotional management ability of private boarding junior high school students was at a medium level,and their emotional perception and expression skills were good,but their emotional regulation ability was relatively poor.From the analysis of demographic variables,the emotional management ability of private boarding junior high school students was significantly different in terms of grade,gender,whether they had only child,whether they boarded in primary school,how often they went home,family structure,parenting style and parents’ education level,but there was no significant difference in class cadres or not.Based on the questionnaire survey,the analysis found that the factors affecting the emotional management ability of private boarding junior high school students are mainly attributed to three levels: individual,family and school.Based on the above analysis,this paper proposes countermeasures to improve the emotion management ability and promote the development of the emotion management ability of private boarding junior high school students.From a personal point of view,change self-perception,summarize the value of experience,and be able to carry out reasonable catharsis.From the perspective of the family,strengthen family education and establish a close parent-child relationship.From the perspective of the school,teachers should actively guide and reflect humanistic care.Schools should pay close attention to building a good psychological atmosphere.At the same time,schools should also develop school-based curriculum to help students manage emotions. |
