STEM education is the organic integration and development of four comprehensive disciplines of science,technology,engineering and mathematics.STEM education is fully infiltrated and applied in the teaching of biology in senior high schools in China based on the perspective of STEM education,so that senior high school students have the comprehensive ability of scientific inquiry,scientific thinking,engineering thinking and innovative design,and acquire STEM literacy.Meanwhile,it also provides theoretical and practical basis for senior high school biology teachers to meet the needs of the development of the times,to carry out STEM education in classroom teaching and to cultivate students' STEM comprehensive literacy.On the basis of constructivism,dewey's educational thought and multi-intelligence theory,combined with the elements of STEM composition and the characteristics of biology teaching,the study organically combines the exploratory teaching and engineering design process model to construct an integrated STEM teaching design process.Selecting the content of "enzyme reducing activation energy of chemical reaction" in the compulsory textbook of senior high school,and developing concrete teaching cases.Based on 196 students in four classes in the first grade of Shengze Middle School in Wenshang County of Jining City,the author studies the teaching practice,compiles the test paper before and after to test the effect of the teaching practice,and collates and analyzes the results of the test paper before and after 196 students with SPSS data analysis software.According to the results,the integrated STEM teaching design process can help students master the core knowledge points of teaching materials,cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve social life problems,at the same time,it can also make students form a good learning attitude and enhance their sense of teamwork in their study and life.The research mainly uses the literature method,the case analysis method and the experiment method to carry out the research,altogether consists of five parts:First: Questions raised.Explain the research background of STEM education,determine the purpose and content of this research,research methods and ideas.Second: Literature review.First of all,combing the domestic and foreign scholars on STEM education,STEM literacy and teaching design three core concepts related interpretation,define its connotation.Then the research status of STEM education at home and abroad is expounded from four aspects: STEM course,STEM teaching mode,STEM teaching case and STEM education measurement and evaluation.Finally,three related theories are introduced in detail:constructivism,Dewey's educational thought and multiple intelligence theory.The third is the design of high school biology teaching from the perspective of STEM education.combining the constituent elements of STEM and the characteristics of biology teaching,organically integrating the process of teaching and engineering design,constructing an integrated process of STEM teaching design,taking the section "enzymes that reduce the activation energy of chemical reaction" as an example,writing the teaching design and analyzing the teaching case.Fourth: High school biology teaching practice from the perspective of STEM education.Taking 196 students in the four ordinary classes of senior high school in shengze middle school,wenshang county,jining city as the research object,the teaching was carried out.Through the preparation of pre-test papers and post-test papers,the test group and the control group of students before and after the development of the experimental changes;through the questionnaire survey,to detect the change of students' attitude.The final results showed that: the teaching practice achieved good teaching results,and the experimental group students were significantly higher than the control group in terms of STEM knowledge,STEM ability,STEM thinking and STEM attitude.Fifth: Conclusion and reflection.Summarize the content of this study,draw a conclusion,and reflect on the shortcomings in the study.
