China is a unified multiethnic country.Maintaining the unity of the motherland and strengthening national unity are the top priorities of our socialist construction.Since the founding of New China,the party and government have attached great importance to the issue of national unity,and national unity education has become one of China's important national policies.Since the 19th CPC National Congress,"deepening the education of national unity and progress and casting the consciousness of the Chinese nation community" has become the loudest voice in the new era.In 2008,the Ministry of Education and the National Civil Affairs Commission jointly issued the "Guidelines for the Education of National Unity in Schools(for Trial Implementation)",which required schools at all levels and across the country to develop national unity education and cultivate students' sense of national unity.Since the implementation of the"Outline",great results have been achieved in primary and secondary schools across the country,but there are also certain problems.The ethnic minority population in the eastern region is small,and the education for national unity has not attracted enough attention,and the practical and research levels are relatively lacking.This article takes Beijing M Elementary School as the research object to conduct a detailed study and analysis of its ethnic unity education practice,in order to promote the school to implement ethnic unity education better,while providing experience and reference for other schools in the eastern region.This article is divided into four parts.First of all,the paper introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the significance of the research,the core concepts,the theoretical basis,the research ideas and methods,and sorts out the relevant theories and literature of national unity education.The first chapter of this article uses text analysis to introduce the general situation of ethnic unity education in Beijing's M primary school,from the social and cultural profile of Beijing,the general situation of Beijing's national unity education,and the implementation and effects of ethnic unity education in Beijing's M primary school layer by layer.The second chapter of this paper uses observation and interview methods to investigate and study the practice of ethnic unity education in Beijing M primary school.Learning from Taylor's principle,the primary school's ethnic unity education is analyzed and researched in five aspects:education goals,education content,education channels,education evaluation,and safeguard measures.Summarized that in practice,the primary school has explored the government,schools,students,parents and society as the main body,with education goals,education content,education channels,education evaluation and education security as the core,and environment,curriculum and activities as the carrier.Development model of national unity education.At the same time,it is also found that there are problems in Teacher M's elementary school in their understanding of ethnic unity education,inadequate curriculum setting for ethnic culture,and incomplete evaluation of ethnic unity education.The third chapter of this paper,based on the analysis and research of the previous two chapters,puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures from five aspects:education goals,education content,education channels,education evaluation and safeguard measures,in order to improve the national unity education of Beijing M primary school.The implementation also provided experience and lessons for other schools in the eastern region to carry out ethnic unity education.According to the education goals,(1)the universality of the objects of national unity education should be enhanced;(2)the unity of national unity awareness and ability development;(3)the applicability of the national unity education goals.According to the content of education,(1)actively develop and use local ethnic solidarity education resources;(2)effectively select and standardize ethnic solidarity education resources into campus.According to the education approach,(1)comprehensively implement the "environment+curriculum+activities" model;(2)make reasonable use of the "Internet+ ethnic unity" platform.For education evaluation,it proposes:(1)strengthening the strict evaluation and supervision by the competent education department;(2)ensuring the effective evaluation and feedback of teachers and students;(3)encouraging social forces to participate in evaluation and supervision.According to the safeguard measures,(1)the government increases funding guarantees and public service guarantees;(2)schools strengthen institutional guarantees and team building guarantees;(3)parents and schools do well in home-school coordination;(4)the public improves the social environment Protection.
