Abstract/Summary:
In the context of an aging population, the health of older people is receiving increasing attention. On October 25,2016,the State Council issued the“Healthy China 2030"planning outline, which means the official landing and implementation of the“Healthy China”strategy. As a national strategy,it not only requires work from different levels of health, but also promotes a balanced level of health among different regions. In this context, this study opened up the study of the impact of residential areas on the health of the elderly, and used lifestyle as a mediator to explore the mechanism of this effect. The full text is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, introducing the background and significance of the research, research methods, relevant literature review at home and abroad, definition of core concepts and innovation points. The second chapter is the research design.Through the theoretical analysis of the relationship between living area and lifestyle and the health of the elderly, the six research hypotheses and analytical models of this study are proposed, and the data sources of the research are explained. The third chapter is the statistical analysis of the health of urban and rural elderly. This part is based on the data of China’s Old Age Health Influencing Factors Tracking Survey(CLHLS)in 2014.It first introduces the basic situation of the respondents including demographic characteristics and social characteristics, and then conducts the elderly. The univariate analysis of health effects found that middle-aged,married,accompanied by spouses, economic status, and elderly people who did not live with their families showed greater self-care ability and better physical health;Older,married,spouses,economically-elected or equivalent, living with family, and getting timely medical care when sick, have better mental health;middle-aged,married,spouse,educated The social status of older persons with higher or equal economic status, whose main economic sources are not family support, not living with their families, and being able to receive timely medical services when they are ill are better. The fourth chapter and the fifth chapter are the main part of the article. The logic is to establish the binary logistic model to investigate the impact of living area, lifestyle and other control variables on the physical health, mental health and social adaptation of the elderly. The effect test model and the path analysis chart test the mediating effect of lifestyle, and explore the influence mechanism of residential area on the health of the three dimensions of the elderly. The results show that:(l)From the direct impact of the living area on the health of the elderly, the rural elderly Physical health is better than that of urban elderly. The social adaptation of urban elderly is better than that of rural elderly, and there is no significant difference in mental health between the two.(2)Lifestyle has a significant positive impact on the health of all dimensions of the elderly, and has different indirect effects on the impact of the living area on the health of the elderly. In the impact of the living area on the physical health of the elderly, the effect of lifestyle is the masking effect;in the impact of the living area on the mental health of the elderly, the lifestyle plays a full mediating effect;in the living area, the social adaptation of the elderly In the impact, lifestyle has a partial mediating effect.(3)The living area directly affects the physical health of the elderly. The direct effect value is-0.154,and the lifestyle has a masking effect with an effect value of 0.016.If lifestyle variables are controlled, the differences in physical health between urban and rural elderly will increase. The living area has no significant direct impact on the mental health of the elderly, but it has an indirect effect through lifestyle. That is to say,in the relationship between the living area and the mental health of the elderly, the lifestyle plays a full intermediary role, and the mediating effect value is 0.009.The residential area has both a direct impact on social adaptation and an indirect impact on lifestyle. The direct impact value is 0.068,the mediating effect value is 0.011,and the mediating effect is weaker than the direct effect. The sixth chapter is countermeasures and suggestions.Based on the above research results, combined with the research purpose, the article puts forward five countermeasures for the healthy development of the elderly in the future:one is to promote the healthy development of urban and rural elderly at the government level;the other is to play the social adaptation of the elderly at the community level. The role of the link in the process;the third is to build the emotional support network for the elderly at the family level;the fifth is at the level of the old-age institutions-comprehensive improvement of the fit with the health needs of the elderly;the fifth is to actively adapt to the modern level of the elderly The concept of life. The seventh chapter is the conclusion and discussion. On the one hand,it summarizes the content of the full text,on the other hand,it also expounds the shortcomings in the research, and looks forward to the possible progress.
