Reading the whole book is a hot topic in domestic research in recent years.At this time,it is of great significance to study the teaching of the whole book by referring to the mature support theory of foreign countries.The practice of foreign reading classes in the whole book reading teaching is also worth exploring,and the analysis of the whole book reading teaching cases at home and abroad with the support theory is also a major feature of this paper.Starting from the theory of scaffolding this paper studies the teaching of scaffolding and case analysis in all aspects of reading in the whole book.The first chapter is the introduction,including the research origin,concept definition and research methods,literature review,research ideas and paper framework;Research value and contribution.The second chapter describes the theoretical basis,characteristics and model of the whole book.The third chapter describes the whole book reading teaching scaffolding classification,is divided into reading comprehension scaffolding,reading process scaffolding,reading strategy scaffolding and reading generative scaffolding.In chapter 4,corresponding to the type of support in chapter 3,the corresponding teaching cases are listed and briefly analyzed.The fifth chapter designs a teaching plan of gulliver's travels with the whole book's scaffolding theory,which confirms with the previous analysis,hoping to provide some theoretical inspiration and practical guidance for the whole book's reading teaching.
