In 2001,a new round(the eighth)of curriculum reform on basic education was initiated by the Ministry of Education.This curriculum reform clearly put forward implementing 3-level(national,local and school level)curriculum administration.Since school-based curriculum is acting as a supplement of National curriculum,its development is of far-reaching significance.However,to develop and practice school-based curriculum in high schools are extremely difficult,because for one thing,many teachers have not received theoretical studies systematically and are lacking of knowledge on the concepts,contents,practice,evaluation as well as management of school-based curriculum;for another,confronted with the college entrance exam,they are teaching under great pressure.Under this circumstance,to study the development of school-based curriculum is of significant theoretically and practically.In this paper,based on the reality that art students are lacking of motivation on mathematic learning,the author adopts research methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interviews,etc.to conduct the study on development and teaching practice of school based curriculum.The content system of mathematic school-based curriculum for art student,including curriculum goal established,content selection,and specific implementing process and way of evaluation,has been developed,put into practice and analyzed in this paper.The objective of this paper is to provide high school teachers with references and practical evidences on the practice of school-based curriculum,improving high school teachers’ comprehension on school-based curriculum,and exploring the development of school-based curriculum in curriculum reform.
