In2003, High school mathematics curriculum standards promulgated by the Ministry of Education (experimental) set up a flexible mathematics curriculum standards, Requiring high school mathematics curriculum formed by required courses and elective courses, required courses have five modules and elective courses formed by four series, Which required courses require every student must learn,elective courses in the series1,2, and parts of series4as geometric proof of the election, the coordinate system with the parametric equation and inequality selected, these topics as the contents of the university selection test all schools have been opened, then, how are elective3,4the remaining13topics going?In June1999, the decision on deepening education reform and comprehensively promote quality education by The CPC Central Committee and State Council says to implement the national curriculum, local curriculum, and school curricula. Mostly our high school mathematics curriculum focus on the implementation of curriculum development theory, research or non-Entrance Examination-disciplinary school-based curriculum. How is the specific implementation of the mathematical school-based curriculum going on?Beijing as the capital of China, in respect of education, teachers and the level of scientific research have other places can not go beyond the advantages,and Haidian District, as the Center of Beijing Education and Culture, has a strong cultural atmosphere, intensive high-quality talent, then how are high schools mathematics curriculum implementation going on in Haidian District? This paper intends to investigate the series3、4that not required by college entrance and mathematics school-based curriculum’s Specific implementation in ordinary high schools in the Haidian District. Starting from the actual survey and multiple perspectives through questionnaires, interviews and other forms to get Haidian District’s status of implementation of the mathematics electives and school-based curriculum.Through the investigation to solve three problems:(1) What are the high schools’math elective courses and school-based curriculum implementation?(2) What factors impact the implementation of high school mathematics elective courses and school-based courses.(3) Give some suggestions on the implementation of high school mathematics elective courses and school-based courses.
