With the deepening of quality education and the advancement of Chinese education reform,the whole book reading has become the consensus of language education."Ordinary High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" clearly lists "the whole book reading" as one of the high school Chinese learning task groups.As the whole book is read into the classroom and goes to the curriculum,the whole book reading becomes an important reading resource for students to expand their reading,improve their thinking quality,enrich their cultural accumulation,and enhance their aesthetic appreciation.This is not only a manifestation of the deepening and advancing of Chinese teaching,but also a powerful challenge.The whole book reading is becoming curriculum,gradually entering the classroom,and moving towards teaching,but on the whole,its promotion is still relatively slow.In order to better promote the development of the whole book reading teaching,the article conducts an in-depth investigation and research on the current reading teaching status of the entire book,and grasps the current situation of the practice and analyzes its existing problems,in order to propose an optimization strategy.However,these problems in teaching also lead to students paying insufficient attention to the whole book reading,and the situation of “pseudo-reading”,“shallow reading” and “passive reading” makes the whole book read,both in terms of teaching.Still learning aspects have had little effect.In addition,once the teacher’s teaching of the entire book is weak and the students read the whole book,it means that we are farther and farther away from the goal of improving the students’ thinking quality and cultivating students’ reading literacy by reading the whole book.Based on the above-mentioned reading and teaching of the whole book and the understanding of the status quo and meaning of "writing to promote reading",and the problems arising from the reading teaching of the whole book,the article proposes to construct the reading teaching of the whole high school based on the perspective of "writing to promote reading".Model and explain its specific practical strategies.In addition,the article also elaborates the necessity of the high school whole book reading teaching mode based on the theoretical basis,the actual needs and the mode’s own advantages.Finally,the articlespecifically discusses the specific content and practical strategies of the high school whole book reading teaching mode based on the "writing to promote reading" perspective,and provides guidance for teachers to effectively use this model to carry out the whole book reading teaching.The study of Chinese education is still in the process of continuous reform and promotion.For the moment,the theoretical and practical aspects of reading teaching throughout the book are still very serious.Moreover,reading teaching is not a single "reading" activity,and reading teaching itself also undertakes the task of cultivating students’ ability to "write".How to achieve "read-write combination" and better around "reading" to achieve "writing for reading",etc.,need to be paid attention to and carefully explored in order to better serve the entire book reading teaching.
