In 2010,China conducted the sixth national census.The results of the census showed that there were 36 million migrant children aged 017 in China.Due to the separation of habitual residence from registered residence,migrant children are facing such problems as having difficulty getting access to equal educational opportunities that resident children of the same age have as well as adapting to school life.The American psychologist Seligman emphasized and proposed the theory of the positive quality and power of individuals in 1998.He believes that optimism can be obtained through learning.Learning to maintain an optimistic attitude not only helps to avoid depression,but also helps improve health.As a teacher of migrant children in a middle school,I feel that although they are short of confidence and courage,they have shown great determination and resilience.In order to explore the relationship between the positive psychological quality of migrant children and their school adaptation,the following studies are conducted,based on which conclusions are drawn.1.The development of positive psychological quality of migrant children in middle schools is generally good.2.There is no gender or grade difference in the positive psychological quality of children in middle schools.3.Migrant children in middle schools adapts to their school life in a generally proper way.4.The positive psychological quality of migrant children in middle schools is well connected to the adaptation to their school life.6.The psychological qualities of humor,curiosity,friendliness,etc.are significantly related to the adaptation to the school life.The countermeasures for cultivating the positive psychology of migrant children have also been discussed as follows:1.To change the stereotyped views and treat it positively2.To integrate curriculum designs and lay the development foundation3.To support the home-school system and promise psychological quality4.To teach and guide positively and help to discover potentialsIn cultivating the positive psychological quality of migrant children,some preliminary research was carried out based on the narrative therapy and the painting therapy.
