With the attention paid to higher education by the state in the new era,the task of promoting the development of university teachers and strengthening the construction of university teachers is becoming increasingly urgent.Pre-service training of university teachers,as a pre-service vocational training for newly recruited young teachers in colleges and universities,is an important measure to strengthen the construction of the teaching staff. But there is the problem of information asymmetry. From the perspective of information asymmetry, based on information asymmetry theory and principal-agent theory, combined with the relevant policies of pre-job training of university teachers in China, this study analyzed the theoretical possibility of information asymmetry in pre-job training of university teachers, described the principal-agent chain in pre-job training of university teachers, the possible phenomenon of information asymmetry and its consequences. Then around the two main bodies of the university teacher training center and university teachers, the questionnaire and interview were designed to survey the young teachers who participated in pre-service training in Jiangsu Province in the first half of 2018.The interview was conducted with the administrators of the university teacher training center.Through the analysis of the data, the information asymmetry problems in pre-service training of university teachers in China were found out.The study found that young teachers in pre-service training have a strong willingness to understand the information related to pre-service training. At present, the overall situation of information communication in pre-service training is good. Most of the trainees are satisfied with it,but improvements are still needed, such as inadequate channels of information communication.Information asymmetry leads to information mismatch between teachers' training centers and university teachers, which results in the mismatch between the training provided and the needs of young teachers, affects the scientific and practical training content, thus affects the effect and satisfaction of prejob training, and even affects the trust mechanism between young teachers and university teachers' training centers. The reasons including the differences in the social specialization division of labor among different subjects, the lack of service awareness in the concept of mechanical managerialism, the asymmetry of initial distribution of information and the fact that training organizations are only responsible for funds, the differences in the cost and ability of young teachers to obtain information, and the economic interests of pre-job training subjects. Therefore, from the perspective of the state(government),the teacher training center and university teachers, this paper puts forward the mitigation strategies of information asymmetry in the pre-service training of university teachers.
