Research On The Influence Of Graduate Students' Learning Style On Online Academic Information Search Behavior

In the information society of the Internet environment,various kinds of information are rapidly growing.In the face of massive information,personal information search has occupied the main position of daily activities,especially for graduate students who use professional information to search for professional knowledge.However,in the study of information search behavior,most scholars directly classify graduate students as college students,and there are not many studies on graduate students as independent individuals.In the research on the influencing factors of information search behavior,there are not many scholars who pay attention to the influence of learning style on academic information search behavior.Under such a background,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the academic information search behavior of graduate students.Therefore,this paper takes learning style as a starting point to study the information search characteristics of graduate students.First of all,based on the in-depth study of a large number of previous literature and the related theories,the author puts forward the theoretical hypothesis between different learning styles and academic information search behaviors of graduate students,and constructs a model between learning styles and academic information search behaviors..Secondly,this paper analyzes the correlation between the collected questionnaire data on postgraduate learning style and academic information search behavior to verify the theoretical hypothesis proposed by the author.Finally,it is proposed for the postgraduate students: using different ways to obtain academic information resources;improving the ability to screen and utilize information;and strengthening the training of literature retrieval capabilities.For colleges and universities: reform the teaching model of retrieval courses;lengthen the electronic resources and database retrieval time;balance the allocation of academic information resources;strengthen the construction of its own characteristic academic database;actively cooperate with the construction of academic information resource sharing network;provide flexible information for graduate students Service and other suggestions.For academic websites: Optimize website page design;broaden website document sharing channels;increase website search function;review user-shared documents.Through the above suggestions,we can better improve the information literacy of graduate students,especially the ability of academic information search behavior.
