Educational drama,as a new form of educational and teaching organization,has been developing in China for about 20 years.The vast number of experts,scholars and school teachers have made positive contributions to the research,application and promotion of educational drama.Educational drama is to use the organizational form and activity method of drama to achieve the desired teaching effect in the process of education and teaching,emphasizing the educational function of drama,introducing drama elements into mathematics teaching,mainly using the form and organizational method of drama,rather than the content of drama.The application of teaching drama in mathematics teaching is equivalent to introducing a new teaching method,that is,drama teaching method.The application of drama teaching method in mathematics teaching is not only beneficial to enriching the original teaching method,improving the form of education and teaching,but also conducive to improving students’ interest in learning and giving full play to students’ subjective initiative,which is of great significance to enhancing students’ comprehensive strength.In the traditional mathematics classroom,students mostly learn by listening and imitating.Teachers prefer to use language-based teaching methods to teach.Although this can impart a lot of knowledge in a short time,it ignores the main position of students in learning,which is not conducive to students’ active participation in the learning process,and it is not easy to stimulate students’ creativity.Junior 1 students are younger,and their cognitive level is mostly in the transition period from concrete operation to formal operation.During this period,students can think logically by means of concrete things or the images obtained from concrete things,but the formation of concepts is not very mature.To discover problems and solve problems,they still need to rely on familiar objects and scenes,and they can not carry out complex abstract thinking.During this period,students need to be trained in facts and skills,only in the students’ own reason.Only with the participation of resolving power and creativity can mathematics learning be effective.Educational drama,as a teaching method mainly based on emotional cultivation,guidesstudents to enter the scene by constructing vivid and specific scenes with certain emotional color,arouses students’ corresponding emotional experience,and helps students construct rational and scientific understanding on the basis of perception,so as to better understand the teaching content,obtain more profound learning experience and achieve good results.Good teaching effect.Based on the introduction of the related theories of educational drama,this paper analyses the profound connotation and advantages of educational drama,and combines the characteristics of mathematics learning and teaching of junior high school students to formulate a more appropriate program of educational drama activities.According to the program of activities,the author carries out the preliminary application of educational drama in Junior high school mathematics teaching,and obtains valuable experience of mathematical educational drama activities.Secondly,through the research and investigation of the process of educational drama activities,relevant data are obtained and the effectiveness of educational drama in mathematics teaching in the first grade of junior high school is studied with the help of scientific research tools.Finally,it summarizes the whole process of investigation and research,analyses the effective methods of educational drama application in mathematics,and prospects the future application of educational drama in mathematics teaching.
