Geography is a comprehensive and practical subject.The characteristics of this subject determine that students' comprehensive thinking and geographical practice ability can be improved to some extent through learning geography.The high school stage is the stage of individuation and diversification of students' physical and mental development.Therefore,high school geography curriculum standards(2017 edition)was born.It includes the core quality of geography practice in high school.According to the characteristics of students' development,the high school geography class must be "alive" and its scope should not be limited to the classroom.Field observation is one of the more effective teaching methods.Geographic field observation is a key step to realize the practical power of geography.It can not only improve students' learning effect,but also lead teachers to change their ideas and methods of geographic education,so as to ensure the harmony and harmony in geography classes.Under the background of new curriculum reform and based on the core quality of high school geography,this paper studies the cultivation of high school students' geographic field observation in the practical ability of geography.This paper reviews the literature on the key words of geographic field observation and geographic practice.To explore the research status and background of field observation at home and abroad.Field observation is an important method for the cultivation of practical ability of geography,which is of great value.Field observation helps students to understand and apply geographical knowledge and methods,and promotes the development of students' innovation ability and exploration ability.The research process mainly to the senior high school student geography field observation investigation present situation to do the analysis,through the questionnaire survey,the observation method and so on method analysis senior high school student in the field observation training.By leading senior high school students to carry out field observation,this paper analyzes the application of geographic field observation in the cultivation of senior high school students.On the basis of data collation and analysis,this paper puts forward relevant strategies and opinions on the cultivation of high school students through geographic field observation.
