Map and all kinds of geographic chart has those characteristics that wide coverage, large capacity, and much implied information. They can clearly articulate the contact of geospatial concept and geography things. The test on geographical charts can well reflect the students’capability of multiple perspectives on a variety of information and multi-level analysis, summarized, and the ability to obtain a comprehensive evaluation of the conclusions of thinking. By analyzing the college entrance examination questions on geography of recent years can find that almost all of the questions use the rich charts data as the pointcut and background material.Claiming students can obtain valid information from the charts, conduct a comprehensive analyze on the charts. It has become a major problem for students and teachers.So the interpretation of geography charts is more and more important. The capability of reading the analysis directly affects the performance of the students in the entrance. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the reasons for low capability to obtain information on the geographic chart of zhen’an county High School. And put forward the appropriate training strategy.Enhanced High School students geography chart information acquisition ability, changes in teaching methods, to enhance training, promote student geographic charts improved ability to obtain information;This paper takes the literature reading analysis, questionnaire, field intervention methods.
