Research On Nell Noddings' Thoughts On Happiness Education

Neil Nottings comes from the United States,and she has devoted herself to the study of educational theory.She not only founded the theory of caring education,but also the theory of happiness education.In the theory of happiness education,we have a new concept of education.We believe that the purpose of education is to promote students' happiness.At the same time,we also attach importance to students' current happiness and enhance students' ability to develop in many ways.This paper analyses Nottings' happiness education theory.Firstly,it combines the literature method;secondly,it is supplemented by the comparative method.Firstly,based on this theory,this paper discusses its background and theoretical origin.Nottings created the concept of happiness and happiness as a starting point,defined happiness from the relationship between suffering,need,virtue and happiness,and discussed that the cultivation of happiness should be carried out by improving people's comprehensive care ability,developing self-understanding ability and enriching school learning content.The third part elaborates the Enlightenment of happiness education thought to contemporary China,demonstrating the importance of its theory from three fields: family education,school education and professional life.This paper focuses on the Enlightenment of Nottings' happiness education thought to contemporary China,which can not only help students harvest happiness in school,but also help students meet their development needs.On the macro level,it can also help teachers improve their professional ability,promote the development of schools.For our country,it can promote the progress of our own educational concept,so it has great significance.
