Pursuing happiness is an eternal subject of life. So many philosophers, bothancient and modern, Chinese and foreign ponder have pondered for "happiness", andthey have suggested lots of eudemonism. In the actual life people all expect andseek happiness. Although nobody can give happiness an exact definition, they alsosearch for happiness. We can say, human being is pursuing happiness all the time.Educate, an activity for cultivating human beings, should show solicitude for people'shappiness, especially for the happiness of students.There are six parts in all:Instruction: this part brings forward the causes for selecting topic, introducesthe current situation of some value studies of the field at home and abroad, bringforward theories for the asked problems significancely and the practice values of thestudy. The introduction part also discuss the research methods of the study,andgive some brief explanation to the title.Chapter one: this part analyses the concepts of "happiness" and "studenthappiness". Firstly, shows some typical eudemonisms of western philosophers in thesequence of time. And then puts forward the concept of happiness, distinguisheshappiness, pleasure and eudemonia. Finally, analyses "student happiness" from threeways: the formation of student happiness, the characters of process and result ofstudent happiness nd the happiness ability for student.Chapter two: set forth the awful situations of students' happiness. Students areunhappy in practice education. For example, the situation of health, the situation ofrequirements, the situation of individual rights and dignity. The courses are mainly:education emphasizes the needs of society excessely, individual lay too much stresson the instrument value, schools hanker the marks and high enrollment rate, and themisunderstanding to students'happiness for teachers and parents.Chapter three:discusses that education ought to fix student's happiness forultimate goal.For logic, happiness is the ultimate goal of life, and "person" is thepurpose of educating,so student's happiness is the ultimate goal of education. For history facts, pursuing student's happiness is a reality existence, student's happiness isthe common goal of west history of education.Chapter four: discusses that education ought to pay attentions onstudents'happiness in the education process, and how to pay attentions. Infer from theflexible basic key element of education activity (educating person, the person who iseducated, educate content and the means of education), we know that educatingcontent, educating means and teacher-student relations are the major factors of theprocess happiness of education, as a result, we should pay attentions on the processhappiness of education from three dimensions.Chapter five: discusses that education ought to do something for students'lifetime happiness. I think the viewpoints of happiness, the qualities of happiness and theabilities of happiness of students are interrelated with their recept of happiness. So educationshould help students to build up correct viewpoints of happiness, form actively qualities ofhappiness and develop fine ability.
