The main way of moral education in high school is ideological and political class,which plays a key role in cultivating high school students’ ideological and moral quality.Only by truly recognizing the importance of ideological and political lessons can learners form correct understanding and concepts,and learning interests can be stimulated.Thus ideological and political lessons can be effectively carried out,and their true values and functions can be embodied and exerted.However,through investigation and research,it is found that the current high school students’ different recognition in the ideological and political class has caused obstacles to both teaching and learning.By selecting high school students from four middle schools in Hai’an,Nantong City,we found that high school students’ high degree of recognition of ideological and political courses covers several aspects such as the value of the existence of ideological and political courses,the necessity of setting,the knowledge and ability goals and the practicality of the content of the textbook.And the recognition of the objectives of the ideological and political course,the setting of the class and the way of setting the elective course,the difficulty of the content of the textbook,the teaching effect of the teacher,and the evaluation mode is low.The main reason for the low degree of recognition is that teachers do not play an important role in student curriculum identification fully;In addition,students’ learning motivation,cognitive level,and emotional experience are not taken seriously;Last but not least,the evaluation mechanism of ideological and political courses is not perfect and ideological and political class implementation lacks a good environment.Based on the problems in the identification of ideological and political courses among high school students,the strategies for enhancing the recognition of high school students in ideological and political classes can be proposed in a targeted manner.These strategies include several aspects.First of all,the teachers are supposed to play a vital role in enhancing students’ identification of ideological and political courses fully;What’s more,the psychological characteristics of high school students should be considered to construct the teaching mode of ideological and political courses;At the same time,the evaluation system of high school ideological and political courses should be continuously improved;Finally,the implementation environment of the ideological and political courses need to be further optimized.Some specific teaching cases can reflect the above principles and strategies.
