The classical Chinese language recorded the long history and rich culture of Chinese nation in literary language.Primary and middle school students can draw from the spirit of sages and the wisdom of life by reading classical Chinese works.Based on the current teaching situation of classical Chinese reading,this paper intends to study on the connection of classical Chinese reading in primary and secondary schools.The main contents of the study include the compilation and selection of classical Chinese reading materials in primary and secondary schools,the connection between teaching and learning,the evaluation of teaching,the problems existing in the teaching of classical Chinese,the causes of the problems and the suggestions for teaching improvement.The essay includes four chapters:The first chapter introduces the theories about the connection of primary and secondary schools in classical Chinese teaching.First of all,it defines and explains the three core concepts of "classical Chinese","teaching connection" and "connection of classical Chinese reading teaching in primary and secondary school".On the basis,the author proposes some opinions on the connection theories from the perspective of educational psychology and cognitive development of primary and middle school.This paper clarifies the theoretical basis of connection in classical Chinese reading teaching for primary and middle school students.It also puts forward the feasibility of classical Chinese reading teaching in primary and middle schools and the inevitability of linking-up teaching.The second chapter analyzes the practical basis for the connection of classical Chinese reading teaching in primary and secondary schools.Firstly,it analyzes the compilation and selection of the classical Chinese reading textbooks in primary and secondary schools.And then the author conducted a questionnaire on teaching and learning of the classical Chinese in primary and secondary schools and learns about the methods and contents of evaluation.Based on all above,the author objectively presents the present situation of classical Chinese reading teaching in primary and secondary schools and points out the problems in teaching process.The classical Chinese reading teaching in primary and secondary schools is based on "reason exploring" and "suggestions for improvement".The third chapter explores the reasons for the poor connection of classical Chinese reading teaching in primary and secondary schools.This chapter analyzes the objective factors namely course standard,textbook selection,and examination evaluation,and subjective factors of teachers' teaching and students' learning.By reflecting on each section of teaching and learning about educational theories,the author analyzes the reasons for poor connection of teaching process.Chapter four puts forward some suggestions to improve the teaching cohesion of classical Chinese reading in primary and middle schools.Those are reasonable suggestions based on the three chapters,which is the focus of the essay.The suggestions are proposed to actively improve teachers and students,and optimize courses,which helps Chinese teachers with their teaching process and help students to learn Chinese well by macro and detailed guidance.The paper intends to change teachers' and students'methods and attitude to learn classical Chinese,construct the reading system of classical Chinese,define objectives,perfect the compilation of textbooks and further clarify cohesion of key points of Classical Chinese Reading.All the efforts can help build the bridge between the primary school and the secondary school in terms of classical Chinese reading teaching an guide teachers to do better in teaching cohesion.And then the teaching process in the two periods can be connected and integrated well.
