Teacher-student relationship is the cornerstone of education building,which runs through the whole process of education.a high-quality teacher-student relationship concerns the overall well-being of teachers and students,is the key factor to promote the process of school education and teaching,and is also the internal driving force for the development of education.From the perspective of educational ecology and on the basis of literature review,236 teachers and 480 students from three junior middle schools in H city were surveyed by questionnaires,10 teachers and 25 students were also interviewd.According to the survey,the relationship between teachers and students is democratic,but the level of democracy is ordinary,teacher authority exists,and both teachers and students are not positive for the improvement of their relationship.The problems of teacher-student relationship mainly come from following reasons,like the personality factors of teachers and students,the campus pressure faced by both parties,the teaching ability of teachers,the unfavorable factors brought about by the psychological development of students,and the non-benign interaction between teachers and students.Therefore,the corresponding improvement strategies are put forward from the aspects of teachers,students,teacher-student interaction and their surrounding environment: firstly,teachers should help students,respect students,understand and trust students;secondly,students need to show active learning behavior and vigorously interact with teachers;finally,teachers and students need to respect each other,trust each other and try to build a good relationship with teachers.At the same time,teachers and students need to improve their personality and In addition,optimizing the school,family,and social environment will also be conducive to the formation of a harmonious teacher-student relationship.
