Teacher-Student relationship is significant both in schooling and generally educated society today. It is an important relationship not only exists in formal educational institutions, but also can be extended and maintained after students’ graduation, which can be defined as “Post-Teacher-Student relationship”. In order to attend “Post-Teacher-Student relationship”, graduates’ perception of Teacher-Student relationship approached by the theme of their impressive teachers was focused, intending to detect the konwlege of Teacher-Student relationship and implications for professional development of teachers.In the interview-research, 8 fellow students’ recollections of teachers in Grade 1-12, connections they have kept and the future connections they want with teachers remembered were collected when they graduated from their primary schools about 10 years. Content and thematic analyses were circulated in clarifying participants’ reports. Then the final interview report was evaluated by 19 participants including members and peer audiences. Overall, communicative validity was achieved. It is also believed that this interview research of “Post-Teacher-Student-Relationship” can provide participants opportunities to review their former schooling, public rationale and sensitivity toward education is thus potentially improved.Research results manifest that there are mainly two categories of impressive teachers for graduates; one is gratefully memorable and the other is gently memorable. In the case of visiting former teachers, whether there are other classmates coming together is the critical factor. Specifically all the students are willing to visit the teachers who once gave them devoted lessons, and they want to meet teachers when time is appropriate. It is also reported that “Post-Teacher-Student relationship” is a kind of friendship between two equal and mature individuals, where democratic teacher-student relationship is actualized. Besides, “Post-Teacher-Student relationship” is characterized by ideal values such as virtues and knowledge and by remembering along with forgetting. As for implications, the pursuit that teachers match students in schooling is emphasized while graduates’ recognition is advised for teacher evaluations. In the end, suggestions for further research are discussed.
