| Compulsory education,as a public welfare undertaking guaranteed by law by the state,directly provides the people with the pursuit of a better life.Therefore,the supply of compulsory education resources should be able to meet the education demands of residents in the area and coordinate with the population changes in the region.However,the ever-expanding population size and new characteristics of population mobility have challenged the educational resources of urban schools,resulting in the tension between the supply and demand of urban education resources and exacerbating the imbalance between supply and demand of education resources.With the continuous growth of Nanjing’s population,it is bound to produce new demands on its compulsory education.At the moment when the demand for education is constantly changing,it is particularly important to analyze whether the supply of compulsory education resources in Nanjing is adequate and balanced,and how to optimize the standardization of compulsory education schools.This paper aims to study the balance of compulsory education schools in Nanjing from two aspects of adaptability and coordination.Based on the theory of Buchanan clubs’ products and based on the research literature and theories at home and abroad,this paper makes a theoretical analysis of the balance between supply and demand of compulsory education resources in terms of supply,distribution and demand expression.Then,under the guidance of the theory,it depicts the current situation of Nanjing compulsory education school setting,and uses entropy function to construct the four-year compulsory education service level score of each district to conduct adaptability analysis.At the same time,taking the background of population inflow as a specific starting point,this paper analyzes the spatial variation of population size and scale in Nanjing and the path and effect of the educational demand that changes due to the population flow on the supply of basic education.By building a coupled coordination degree model,this paper analyzes the coordination of Nanjing Migration and Compulsory Education School over the years,and puts forward corresponding suggestions according to the data results.Paper is divided into four chapters,with theoretical analysis combined with data analysis,layers of research to study the supply of basic education in Nanjing under the changes in demand.This paper finds that the service level of compulsory education in Nanjing generally improves,and the districts have basically not reached the "crowding point".The distribution of educational resources in all districts is basically balanced and the balance between supply and demand is in a coordinated level.However,there are still problems such as the widening gap in education service levels among junior high schools in each district,the negative growth in some districts,the structural imbalance in supply and the decrease in the coordination of supply and demand for compulsory education in some districts.Therefore,in order to further promote the balanced development of compulsory education in Nanjing and to rationally assess the size and layout of schools in compulsory education stage,this paper suggests that we should raise the level of monitoring and increase the shortcomings of schools in various districts. |
