With the advent of the information era as well as the rapid rise of mass media,there are multiple interaction among individuals and ethnic groups from different cultural backgrounds.It is necessary to carry out multicultural education under this case.History curriculum involves many types of historical and cultural knowledge,such as nationality,region,stratum and gender,which is an ideal position to conduct education of multiculturalism.Taking Yue Lu edition required textbooks as an example,combining with the history,pedagogy,sociology and multicultural education theory,to classify and summarize the multicultural content in textbooks with generalizations historical materialism perspective.Basic on the textbooks,this essay clarifies the specific strategies of promoting the capability of multicultural education from different perspective of teachers to students,The introduction part expounds the cause of the topic and the current achievements as well as status on multicultural education development at home and abroad.Besides,the other parts of the essay introduce the main research methods and define the concept of multicultural education.Multiculturalism is closely related to social development.According to the regular senior high school history curriculum standard(experiment)and key competencies,author makes a point that what targets senior school students should be reach to,which result in verifying the position and value about multicultural education in high school history education.On the basis of the definition of the pluralistic cultural type,and according to the current scholars of multicultural types of classification,the author classifies and calculates the body content of culture types from required textbooks.Then,probing into the problems reflected by different types of culture.The result shows that the proportion of national culture and regional culture is larger;In gender culture,male culture occupies an absolute advantage;In class culture,people intend to choose elite class culture;the proportion of youth culture and special group culture is extremely low.Based on such a situation,the thesis puts forward to several thoughts about multicultural education on senior historical courses,which refers to the development of extracurricular resources,education on multicultural condition and self-shaping multicultural literacy.The author expects that teachers make efforts together with students to help them to rationally judge the various cultures,to improve ability of cross-cultural understanding and base on the view of cultural diversity to analyze the cultural differences among different countries,regions and ethnic with a wide-range multicultural sight.Moreover,becoming friendly culture disseminators with the joint efforts of teachers and students is significant as well.
