With the development of the new curriculum reform, the cultivation of the geographical core literacy has become a hot topic in the study of geographical teaching. The study focuses on the development level of the core literacy of senior high school students and investigates the student with testing.By analyzing the result of the test to understand the current level of the geographical core literacy. And then put forward suggestions on promoting the development of geographical core literacy.By reference to Geography Curriculum Standard of Ordinary High School(2017 Edition)and four aspects which include Human Land Coordination,Comprehensive Thinking,Regional Cognitive Ability and Geography Practical Power to draft the test questions. And then invite geography curriculum specialists and high school geography teachers validate the test structure. Finally form the test questions of geographical core literacy.Using core literacy test questions to test high school students in Nanjing and then using the SPSS24.0 to analyze the test results comparing "geographical quality level"of the new curriculum standard. From the test results,we have learned that the current development of geographical core literacy has some problems.Such as the level of geographical core literacy is not high, senior high school students’ core literacy level is better than high school students and there are also significant differences in the degree of attention on geographical core literacy. In view of the problems, the study suggests that we should pay attention to the concept of Man Land Coordination and the cultivation of Geographical Practice Power. We also should advocate geography research learning and problem-based teaching and then set up the evaluation mechanism that points out the geographical core literacy. There are also some shortcomings in the study. For example, the analysis of the meaning of the geographical core literacy and the level of academic quality analysis is not deep enough. And the number of samples is less.In the future,we hope to make a deeper analysis of the meaning and extension of the core literacy of geography, hoping to carry out a large-scale assessment of core competence in high school. |
