| With the overall carrying out competence education,low-performing schools’existence has been a bottleneck of the development of basic education in China,which restricts the improvement of educational level and the populace’s cultivation.The contradiction between the demand for high quality education and the overall low quality of education cannot meet this demand has become the main contradiction in the field education.It leads to a series of social problems such as purchasing the houses in school district and overbidding for schools,etc.So it is necessary to explore the issue of low-performing schools,besides,reforming and eliminating low-performing schools do good to promote the realization of balanced development of education.This research chooses L Nine-year Education School in T city as research subject as it is a long-established council school and its weakness is typical,so we can learn universal laws and work out strategies that can reform most of low-performing schools via it.The article mainly collects and analyzes existing problems of low-performing schools through literature study,interviewing and practical study.It shows that L Nine-year Education School meets the challenges from outside and inside.The domestic trouble and foreign invasion make the reform must combine external and internal developments.The article provides constructive strategies of low-performing schools’ reforming:Executive Department should improve and perfect evaluation system of schools,AYP can be brought in to assess low-performing schools.Meanwhile,as reforming subject,low-performing schools should try to union essential schools or cooperate with other schools to realize complementary development.The work of reforming low-performing schools has a long way to go.I hope these suggestions can be helpful for reforming low-performing schools. |
