Cultivating students' scientific literacy is increasingly important in science education and teaching.In 2017,the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China promulgated a new edition of the“Primary Science Curriculum Standards"and re-established the science curriculum for the first grade of primary school,highlighting the importance of primary school science education in the entire education system.What exactly is the science teaching in the first grade of primary school in practice?This is a question that needs to be faced.This study focuses on the following issues:(1)To investigate and analyze the objective status quo of science teaching in the first grade of primary school in Nanjing;(2)To dig deeper into the primary view of first-year science classes by first-year students,teachers,administrators,and parents;(3))Based on this,put forward their own thinking on science teaching in the first grade.Researchers are guided by anthropological research methods,and field investigation methods,classroom observation methods,interviews,and questionnaire surveys are used as specific methods and last for one year.During the survey,the investigators conducted field surveys on the first-year science teaching practices of two elementary schools in Nanjing through a fully participatory survey.They interviewed some first-year students,parents,science teachers,and administrators,and strived to make the first-year science education a reality.Make a full,true and detailed description.The research results show that the positive results of the first-year science teaching include:students show great interest in scientific learning,students' scientific study habits are cultivated,scientific teaching plans are basically implemented,and the overall quality of teachers is generally improved;With equipment and equipment basically meeting the needs,scientific curriculum arrangements have basically been implemented;more and more parents are beginning to pay attention to science education.However,the first-year science teaching also has the following problems:First-year students are quite different and difficult to organize;some students have bad science study habits;teachers have many tasks and lack sufficient understanding of first-year students;teaching content is single;The degree of emphasis is not enough and the science teaching resources provided are not abundant;parents do not understand the essence of science.On this basis,the researchers put forward the following points on the first-year science teaching:Pay attention to students,observation,thinking and expression,and promote students to develop good scientific study habits;Teachers should highlight situations and interest in science teaching In order to effectively identify students'pre-scientific concepts,we must use children's understandable language teaching,develop first-year children's observation skills,and constantly strengthen the quality of self-improvement;school leaders must change their thinking and strengthen scientific teaching's attention and management.Equipped with adequate experimental apparatus to strengthen the construction of teachers;parents should change their thinking,cooperate with the school to carry out scientific teaching,and urge children to cultivate scientific habits and scientific learning interests.
