Abstract/Summary:
In the 21 st century,the development of science and technology is of paramount importance to the development of the country,society and the world.Since 21 st century,global scientific and technological innovation has entered an era of unprecedented and active activity.A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is reshaping the global innovation map and reshaping the global economic structure.If China wants to be strong and revival,it must make great efforts to develop science and technology and build a strong country in science and technology.The development of science and technology is inseparable from the improvement of the scientific quality of the whole people and the cultivation of outstanding scientific and technological talents.The task of achieving these two basic goals is to develop science education and cultivate innovative talents.Science education is in Primary school is an importance means to improve the scientific quality of young people and cultivate outstanding scientific and technological innovation talents.In recent years,the state has increased its investment in science education in elementary,and regards science there as a guarantee for comprehensively improving the quality of students.In response to the challenges posed by education in the era,the quality of science teaching needs to be continuously improved.The elementary science class combines relevant knowledge in the fields of mathematics,physics,biology,chemistry,etc.It is a comprehensive and highly disciplined subject.This requires that the elementary school science teachers not only have a comprehensive knowledge structure but also a strong comprehensive ability to master the necessary and appropriate teaching methods.Under the impetus of the new curriculum reform,a majority of primary school science teachers and a group of educational research scholars have carried out long-term practical exploration and repeated verification of science classroom teaching.Practice has proved that Project-Based Learning meets the requirements of talent training.It is suitable for implementation in the teaching of science in primary schools.It is an effective teaching method.This study selected several schools in Shapingba District to survey via some methods such as document,questionnaire survey,and interview to collect information.Based on the analysis and induction of collected information,this study clarifies the cause of the problem and find the ways to solve it.The contents mainly relative to the study is as follows:First of all,the study define two terms “science class teaching in primary school” and “Project-Based Learning teaching ”,and briefly illustrate the basic theory of PBL teaching and study status quo.Then,learn the status quo of the application of PBL teaching in grade three to grade five in primary school by questionnaire;In student perspective,the survey mainly collects the classroom cooperative learning,the classroom evaluation and science teaching needs satisfaction.In teachers perspective,the survey collects information of PBL teaching application about teaching attitude,theory learning,important procedure conducting,nd identify cause of problem in PBL teaching preceding.Finally,according to the cause of problems,this study proposes corresponding solutions,in teachers' perspective: narrow the two-level differentiation of age of science teachers.Strengthen vocational training including pre-service training and in-service training of science teachers.Conduct various scientific teaching competitions and exchange frequent communication and mutual learning among different schools.All that are in order to improve the professional level of science teachers in primary schools;In parents' perspective: get parent's support and promote cooperation between home and school so as to smooth the implementation of PBL teaching in science class.Evaluation perspective: transform science evaluation discipline that is to consider science evaluation into individual entrance examination,which would eleven the position of science.In addition,combine with various development requirements,this study proposes a approach to localize PBL teaching.According to the survey of PBL teaching in primary school science class this study draws the conclusions:Effective teaching method in science class is the key to cultivate creativities,improve the quality of elementary science education,and speed the reform of science education in primary school.The implementation of PBL teaching in science class outstands many advantages in talents' innovation training,but the current teaching practices are not correspondent with the teaching theory that science teachers have known.Multi-angle obstacles in carrying on PBL teaching method in primary school science class;subjective aspects include teachers,students,and parents,and the objective aspects come from the status of the discipline,education guarantee,and evaluation mechanism.PBL teaching method has great advantages for achieving educational goals,but it needs to be adapted to local conditions,all people from different fields make every effort,I believe,the great wonders that innovative talents breed and great country with strong science and technology construction will be accounted.
