With the continuous development of teacher education research,Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK)has received much attention from many scholars as an important part of teacher professional development.In recent years,with the rise of STEM education,the STEM curriculum came into being,and the newly issued elementary science curriculum standard in 2017 added the science technology and engineering sector.The engineering and technical field in the science curriculum of the primary school is different from the experimental inquiry of the traditional plate.It is a very comprehensive part.It not only cultivates the students' operational ability,but also cultivates the students' innovative ability.It also pays attention to the ability of students to use the knowledge to solve practical problems.The study of this part means that science teachers must have a strong knowledge of subject teaching,which is a challenge for students and science teachers.The application of teachers' knowledge in classroom teaching is an urgent research topic.This study firstly combs the domestic and international research results of teachers' PCK and STEM education.Then it combines the characteristics of primary science disciplines to establish research framework from four aspects,the teaching objective knowledge,curriculum knowledge,learner knowledge and teaching strategy knowledge in the technology and engineering field.Based on this framework and the concept of science serving life,five primary school science teachers in F county,Shandong province are selected as research objects through classroom observation,interview survey,literature research and other methods.Classroom teaching of three teachers in the field of technology and engineering is taken as observation samples for investigation and research.Through investigation and summarizing the status quo of subject teaching knowledge of science teachers in the field of technology and engineering in primary schools from the research content,it is found that PCK of some primary school science teachers in county F has a good overall development level in the field of technology and engineering,and there is a big gap between different types of teachers.Due to limited energy,part-time teachersare less skilled in teaching knowledge in the field of technology and engineering than full-time science teachers.Compared with expert teachers,novice teachers have novel teaching forms and strong language expression ability,but lack a profound understanding of the connotation of technology and engineering field,and the development level of PCK in this field is not high.According to the research conclusions,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the development of PCK in the technical and engineering field of primary school science teachers,and puts forward some targeted suggestions.The specific measures include: optimizing the structure of the teaching staff;speeding up the professionalization of science teachers;strengthening learning and enriching subject knowledge;walking into the students and paying attention to the students' experience;exchanging seminars and building a learning community.
