Parents,as guardians of young children, are the first teachers of young children and play a key role in the development of all aspects of young children.Under the dual urban-rural structure in China, urban and rural kindergartens have different resistances when implementing game-based courses, which restricts the development of rural preschool education and inhibits parents' educational concepts.Parents in urban and rural areas have different understandings of the“game-based activities” implemented by kindergartens, and gradually widen the gap between urban and rural early childhood education. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the concept of playful learning of urban and rural parents for promoting the overall healthy development of children and improving the quality of family education. This study mainly used questionnaires, interviews, and comparative studies. On the basis of previous research,a tool such as the "urban and rural parents' playful learning concept" questionnaire was formed. The research subjects selected eight kindergartens in five urban and rural areas in Guangzhou, and a total of 500 parents investigated the status quo of urban and rural parents' playful learning concepts. At the same time,20 parents were randomly selected from the urban and rural parents who participated in the questionnaire survey.Structured interviews further revealed the problems and differences between the two types of parents' "game learning ideas".Finally,it proposes targeted suggestions for improving the concept of game learning for urban and rural parents. This article is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction.First of all, this paper expounds the origin of the research topic, the purpose and significance of the research, followed by the core concept definition and literature review. Finally, the research design of this research is introduced. In the second part, through questionnaire survey and analysis of the status quo of children's parent game learning concept, the conclusions are as follows: There are significant differences in concept of game learning between parents of urban and rural children, especially parents' relationship between games and learning, and game learning.Content and game-based learning are significantly different at all three latitudes.Through the investigation of urban and rural parents' own characteristics, the gender of urban and rural parents does not affect the concept ofgame-based learning;the concept of game learning in urban parents is influenced by their age and education level;the concept of game learning in rural parents is affected by their profession.Judging from the factors of young children, the age of young children affects the concept of game-based learning of rural parents. From the perspective of the number of children, the concept of playful learning of both urban and rural parents is not affected by the number of children. In the third part, based on the existing literature review and research results,it proposes to change the concept of game-based learning of urban and rural parents. The fourth part is an epilogue that puts forward a beautiful outlook on improving the concept of playful learning for parents in urban and rural children. In general, the concept of game-based learning among urban and rural parents is relatively optimistic. Both urban parents and rural parents agree that children learn through games. Most parents think that there is a connection between infant games and learning.Young children will have a pleasant feeling through the game activity experience. However, urban and rural parents have different views on the content and role of children in game-based learning.City parents hope that children develop childhood curiosity and curiosity through game activities, and highly believe that children will achieve social development of children through games;rural parents It is hoped that children will acquire learning skills during the game, such as counting, drawing, etc.,in order to improve children's cognitive development, especially in terms of intelligence. The government should strengthen the institutional guarantees for parents in urban and rural areas;kindergartens should step up their efforts to change parents' educational concepts;urban parents should establish educational concepts that focus on multiple talents and ability;parents in rural areas must also continue to strengthen their studies and strive to enhance their cultural quality.Strengthen communication with kindergarten teachers.
