In order to explore the role of inquiry-based learning in the development of education informatization,the 10 th Global Chinese Innovation Conference about Inquiry-based Learning(GCCIL)was successfully held in Beijing normal university in July 2019.The conference emphasized the learning methods under the development of innovative and intelligent education,aiming at improving teachers' ability to apply inquiry-based learning innovation.Inquiry-based learning pays attention to students' participation and autonomy,which can promote students' scientific concept learning to some extent.However,due to the fact that the duration of inquiry-based learning is long in actual teaching,students' motivation is not strong,and the operation is complicated,the effect of inquiry learning is not fully manifested,and the learning of concept still remains at the level of mechanical memory.Educational games are conducive to the cultivation of students' problem-solving ability,and have vivid and attractive learning situations for students to experience learning.If supplemented with matching learning activities and learning support,they will play a huge role in students' inquiry learning.Moreover,studies have proved that gamification plays an important role in stimulating students' interest in learning,maintaining their motivation,optimizing the learning process and giving play to students' initiative,which is a major means of education and teaching.Now for the plight of inquiry learning and the requirement of concept learning,try to explore learning and education game,combining with the education game promote the enthusiasm of students in learning and learning interest,make students experience the science inquiry process in a game situation,so as to develop the students' ability of scientific inquiry and the exploring spirit,developing the students' scientific concept,and promote inquiry learning.Therefore,on the basis of theoretical research,this study constructs a game-based inquiry learning model,and carries out teaching experiments to verify its teaching effect.Mainly carried out the following research work:(1)Search domestic and foreign literatures on game-based inquiry learning and scientific concept learning,summarize the research status of the game-based inquiry learning and the scientific concept learning,and determine the research content,research framework and research methods;(2)Consult materials,define core concepts such as game-based inquiry learning and scientific concepts,and determine the theoretical basis supporting this research;(3)Analyze the construction basis and principles of game-based inquiry learning mode,summarize the essence and general process of scientific concept learning,summarize and analyze the characteristics and process of game-based inquiry learning,and build a game-based inquiry learning mode on this basis;(4)In order to bring the game-based inquiry learning mode systematically applied to teaching,and better serve the students' learning and teachers' teaching,under the guidance of teaching design theory,starting from the demand analysis,the method of system science,in the teaching on the basis of analysis and game analysis to determine the game-based inquiry learning mode framework of instructional design,and design the application strategy of the gaming inquiry learning mode to support the students' game-based inquiry learning;(5)In order to verify the application effect of the game-based inquiry learning mode,the theme unit course of "concept of force" was designed,and the corresponding educational game "BumperDucks" was selected for the teaching design and experimental design of game-based inquiry learning process.Then,two classes of eighth grade students in a middle school in Jinan city were used as experimental subjects to carry out the teaching experiment.One of the classes was the experimental group,and the game-based inquiry learning mode was applied to carry out thematic unit course learning;the other class was used as the control group,and conventional inquiry learning mode was adopted.After the end of the teaching experiment,students were organized to complete the "concept of force" learning achievement test and the feedback questionnaire of game-based inquiry learning process,and data were collected and the application effect was analyzed to explore the influence of the game-based inquiry learning mode on students' scientific concept learning.The results show that the game-based inquiry learning mode can not only effectively promote students' learning of scientific concepts,but also improve the learning effect of concepts.Moreover,students who learn scientific concepts through the game-based inquiry learning mode have improved their learning participation,enthusiasm and self-confidence,and have positive and positive feedback to the game-based inquiry learning process.In this study,educational games are creatively integrated into the process of inquiry learning to form the game-based inquiry learning mode,and the model is applied to carry out the learning of scientific concepts.It not only realizes the innovative application of inquiry learning,but also provides reference for the teaching application of the game-based inquiry learning mode.
