Teaching wit is the educational wit expressed by teachers in the specific teaching situation and reflects the comprehensive quality of teachers.No matter how much the pedagogy theory the educator has studied,he can not be a good educational practitioner if he lacks educational ingenuity.The teaching acumen in classroom teaching situation can make the teacher deal with all sorts of happenstance flexibly,develop the potential of the student,arouse the student's study interest,activate the classroom atmosphere,and improve the efficiency and effect of the classroom teaching,which is the hot spot that we should focus in the new round basic education curriculum reform.This paper includes the introduction and the main body.The introduction clarifies the background of the topic and the significance of the study mainly.The body part includes three parts: The first part is the related summary of the ideological and political course.Firstly,it expounds the meaning and characteristics of teaching wit;Secondly,the types of teaching wit are explained.Finally,the particularity of the teaching wit in ideological and political course is pointed out.The second part analyzes the factors that influence the use of the intelligent in ideological and political course from four aspects: "educator","educatee","teaching opportunity" and "classroom atmosphere".The third part tells the countermeasures of improving ideological and political teaching.This part expatiates from the four aspects: teachers ' "teaching idea",students' "thinking quality","teaching opportunity" and "classroom atmosphere",which is not only beneficial to teachers who will use of teaching wit,but also lays a solid foundation for teachers to have a perfect lesson.
