Objective:This study is based on theory of physical science and psychology,taking basketball and aerobics and their combination as intervention means and taking college student as the research object.To explore the effects of basketball and aerobics and their combination exercise on college students' Self-control and Psychological stress and sequence effect of item combination after 6 weeks and 12 weeks.Furthermore,this paper explores the intermediary role of self-control in the influence of different intervention methods on psychological stress,and provides theoretical and experimental basis for improving college students' self-control and psychological stress.Methods:The college freshmen of 5 classes in a university in Yangzhou were selected as the experimental objects,199suetents:the control group(41 students),aerobics group(42 students),basketball group(40 students),aerobics and basketball group(38 students),basketball and aerobics group(40 students).Using basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise to intervene for 12 weeks.Routine teaching in control group.The self-control and psychological stress were measured before,and after 6 weeks and 12 weeks after the experiment,respectively,using the College students' Self-Control scale and the Chinese College students' Psychological stress scale.The effects of basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise on college students' self-control and psychological stress were investigated by repeated measurement method,and the mediating effects of self-control on psychological stress in different intervention ways were discussed.Results:(1)After 6 weeks of basketball,aerobics and their combinations exercise,there was no significant difference in the dimensions of self-control(P>0.05).After 12 weeks of basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise,there were significant differences in the effects of overall self-control(F(4,194)=2.524,P<0.05),impulse control(F(4,194)=2.665,P<0.05),resisting temptation(F(4,194)=2.437,P<0.05).The improvement effect is shown as follows:aerobics group,basketball group,basketball and aerobics group are superior to aerobics and basketball group.There were significant differences in the influence of basketball,aerobics and their combination on the controlling entertainment of college students(F(4,194)=2.782,P<0.05)after 12 weeks of exercise.The improvement effect is shown as follows:The aerobics group,the basketball and aerobics group are superior to the aerobics and basketball group.There is no significant difference in the effects of basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise on the dimension of healthy habit(F(4,194)=2.184,P>0.05)and the dimension of focus study(F(4,194)=1.463,P>0.05)of college students after 12 weeks.(2)After 6 weeks of basketball,aerobics and their combinations exercise,there was significant difference in the dimension of social stress(F(4,194)=3.647,P<0.01).The improvement effect is shown as follows:the basketball group,the aerobics and basketball group,the basketball and aerobics group are superior to the aerobics group.After 12 weeks of basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise,there were significant differences in the effects of the overall psychological stress and sub-dimensions of college students(P<0.01).The results showed that the effect of aerobics and basketball group on learning stress was better than that of basketball and aerobics group,control group.The effect of basketball and aerobics group on life stress was better than that of aerobics group,basketball group,aerobics and basketball group.The effect of basketball group,aerobics and basketball group,basketball and aerobics group on social stress was better than that of aerobics group.(3)The dimension of self-control healthy habit plays a complete intermediary role in the influence of aerobics and basketball on psychological stress.Conclusions:(1)Basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise have a positive effect on improving college students' self-control ability,and the longer the duration,the better the effect.The effect of aerobics,basketball,basketball and aerobics is the most remarkable.As far as sequential effects are concerned,the effect of basketball and aerobics is better than that of aerobics and basketball.(2)Twelve weeks of basketball,aerobics and their combination exercise can relieve the psychological stress of college students,and there are significant differences between different intervention methods.(3)Aerobics and basketball indirectly regulate psychological stress level through healthy habits.
