Domestic and international studies have shown that college students' psychological stress is an important factor that influences college students' mental health, and the main sources of stress are academic development, interpersonal communication and love. The university stage is the transitional period for young people to develop into adults.During this period, the undergraduates' psychological is not mature enough, their emotions are lack of stability, and they are vulnerable to external conflicts and psychological conflicts. If psychological pressure cannot be promptly channeled,it may easily lead to psychological problems that affect their academic performance and development.Under extreme circumstances,it may also cause harm to students or suicide, such as Yunnan University,Ma Jiajue killings. The psychological stress assessment of college students mostly adopts the objective scale method, which has the advantages of convenience, economy and objective standardization in the evaluation. However, due to the social characteristics of the Chinese people in answering the scales, such as social approbation, default but not explicit, and moderation,a certain proportion of the students in the questionnaire test have low authenticity, which greatly affects the authenticity and effectiveness of the questionnaire test. The Draw-a-Person-in-the-Rain(DAPR)assessment is evaluated through painting subjects test stress levels of a psychological projection technology, its biggest advantage is that can avoid the defense of the subjects, prevent false answer in objective questionnaire test and present the subjects psychological reality. However, this technology also has the disadvantages of strong subjectivity and lack of objective criteria for evaluation. This research In this study,we use computer image recognition technology and quantitative research methods of DAPR calculation software to extracting and quantifying stress-related indicators such as "the number of raindrops","the average distance between raindrops","the average length of raindrops" and "the total area of raindrop" in the DAPR,the data were used to conduct correlation studies with the score of stress response(SR),score of emotional response(SER),score of physical response(SPR)and social behavior response(SBR).In addition, this study investigated the reliability of the DAPR by retesting the subjects. This paper explores the operability and reliability of the DAPR in the psychological measurement application of college students, and provides a scientific basis for the popularization of this technology. The results showed that the degree of psychological stress response of the college students was lower than the norm(P<0.05).The psychological stress response level of male college students is higher than that of female college students(P<0.05).The total score of stress responses of sophomores and senior students is higher than that of freshmen and juniors(P>0.05).The score of stress response of the college students' stress response scale was positively correlated with the number of raindrops, the average distance between raindrops and the total area of the raindrop in the DAPR(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between the total score of the stress response scale and the average length of raindrops, but not statistically significant(P>0.05).The number of raindrops and the total area of raindrops were positively correlated with the score of emotional response(SER),score of physical response(SPR)and social behavior response(SBR)in stress response scale(P<0.05).The DAPR has a significant correlation between the two test scores within 15 days(r =0.897,P<0.05).The DAPR has a high reliability, validity and maneuverability in college students' stress assessment, which can reflect the stress response level of the subjects objectively and accurately. This technique has the characteristics of accurate, intuitive, nonverbal, closer to the subconscious,it can be combined with stress scale is used to accurately evaluate students' level of psychological stress,it can be used for diagnosing, screening and obtaining counseling information in college students' psychological work.
