Prosocial behavior is defined as an conduct which intend to help others,and it has great significance on others and social.It concludes all positive behaviors and responsible behaviors.Children’s prosocial behavior is the process in which children develop their sociality and individuality,and it is significant for future development of their sociality.A lot of research has been conducted centered on the initial mechanism and effecting factors of children’s prosocial behavior,and the research showed that family factors and individual factors are the most important factors that contribute to prosocial behaviors.Crick and Dodge has offered a model named “Information processing model for children’s social adaptation”,in this theoretical model,they concluded that the responsibility of individual would effect consequences of prosocial behaviors.The Human Ecology Theory,formulated by famous psychologist Urie Bronfenbrenner,and the Ecological Systems theory states that human’s development is influenced by the different types of environmental systems.Family is an important part of the micro system,and it can bear directly on development of children.In this paper,the author selected family rituals,children’s responsibility and children’s prosocial behavior as three key variables,and try to discuss the relationship of them..In this study,we selected 380 children aged 3-6 from a kindergarten in Jinan as subjects.We used the SDQ to assess children’s prosocial behavior,and we used Chinese Family Ritual Questionnaire to assess the children’s family rituals.The development of the children’s responsibility was measured by Children Responsibility Questionnaire which was developed by Li Hongzeng.Results included the following:Children’s age remarkably influences children’s prosocial behavior.The development level of responsibility of the children in the bottom class in a kindergarten is significantly lower than middle and higher class children.And there was no significant difference between middle and higher class children.The effect of gender and whether or not only one child on children’s prosocial behavior development are not significant.Children’s age and whether or not only remarkablyinfluences children’s responsibility.The responsibility to themselves,responsibility to family,responsibility to group,responsibility to social of the children in the bottom of class are significantly lower than the middle and higher class children.The responsibility to group,responsibility to social of non-only child are significantly higher than only child.The effect of family types and professions of parents on family rituals are not significant,but parents’ educational level remarkably influences children’s prosocial behavior.Children’s responsibility to themselves,responsibility to family,responsibility to group,responsibility to social show a significant and positive correlation to children’s prosocial behavior.Regressive analysis shows that responsibility to family and responsibility to group have positive predict ability to children’s prosocial behavior.Occurrence,roles,attendance,affect,deliberateness show a significant and positive correlation to children’s prosocial behavior.Regressive analysis shows that affect has positive predict ability to children’s prosocial behavior.Occurrence,roles,attendance,affect,deliberateness show significant and positive correlations to children’s responsibility to themselves,responsibility to family,responsibility to group and responsibility to social.Regressive analysis shows that affect has positive predict ability to children’s responsibility to family,responsibility to group and responsibility to social.In addition,deliberateness has positive predict ability to children’s responsibility to family.In the process of affect effecting children’s prococial behavior,children’s responsibility to family has incomplete mediate effect;In the process of affect effecting children’s prococial behavior,children’s responsibility to group has incomplete mediate effect;Children’s responsibility to family plays the complete intermediary between deliberateness and children’s prococial behavior.
