Romain Rolland,a famous French writer,once said,"Without great character,there is no great man,no great artist,no great actor."It can be seen that character is extremely important to the growth and development of human beings,and character education should become an essential part of school moral education.At the same time,character education is also an important link to cultivate the core quality of middle school students.Moreover,the core quality concept of middle school students urges us to carry out the research on the optimized path of character education.High school students are in the crucial period of character formation and development,so it is particularly important for them to cultivate good characters.Based on literature research and the empirical research method,combining with the basis of relevant theories of education and foreign character education,this paper conducts concept definition and content of character education of high school and carries out relevant research.The author takes the middle school attached to Yangzhou University as the research sample,designs questionnaire taking teachers and students of the school as object,and conducts a thorough investigation into the development of character education in the school,then analyzes the survey results in detail,on the basis of the analysis,puts forward the optimum path of character education of high school students.In addition,this paper analyzes and discusses the character education practice activities carried out by the affiliated middle school of Yangzhou University,and through demonstrating a series activities of'micro public welfare for all"constructed by the school,it further proves the feasibility of improving the effect of high school students' character education by that family,school and community each performs its own functions and interconnects with each other.The innovation part of this thesis is:firstly,the study of character education in the current academic field mainly focuses on the theory and practice of foreign character education,and the Junior middle students and college students are taken as the research object,while the research on the character education of high school students based on character education is in a weak situation.This paper takes the optimized path of high school students' character education as the cut-in point,which helps the character education to walk from theory to practice;Secondly,the questionnaire of this paper is designed for teachers and students respectively,it investigates from give and receive these two aspects of character education,which makes the analysis result more objective and persuasive.
