In the 1990 s,the reductive method as a text interpretation method has been put forward,and aroused more and more Chinese education scholars paid attention to this method attention.Some of the front-line Chinese teachers try to apply it to Chinese teaching practice.The achievements are admirable,but the deficiency still exists.How to use the reduction method and improve the novel teaching effectively is an important task.The study aims to investigate and analyze the current situation of the novel teaching.The existing problems are summarized as follows: Firstly,to improve teachers' understanding of the reductive method.Secondly,to restore the teaching situation and stimulate students subject consciousness of learning:(1)bank reduction,enrich the connotation of words.(2)picture reduction,can feel text description.(3)the classroom performance restore,wake up the students experience.Thirdly,restore the dialogue of character and improve the student text interpretation ability:(1)word replacement reduction,mining text meaning.(2)transposition thinking reduction,harmonious dialogue behavior.In order to enrich the high school novel teaching and to make it more flexible and diverse,provide reference for Chinese teachers novel teaching.
