In the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017Edition,2020 Revision),many learning task groups will make clear the background of works and grasp the connotation of works as one of the learning objectives.Meanwhile,in the course learning,students are required to learn to use relevant tools to find relevant information.In terms of teaching methods,the new curriculum standard emphasizes the innovation of teaching and learning mode and advocates development of core literacy.In terms of background knowledge teaching,the teacher-lectured teaching mode can no longer meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform.How to teach and how to learn background knowledge based on Chinese core literacy is a problem that senior Chinese teachers should consider in teaching.After studying the content of Chinese core literacy and the new texts,as well as analyzing the researches at home and abroad,the author,based on the new curriculum standards and her teaching practice,put forward a new idea that students should be the center of the class to reduce the background of the textbooks.On the specific implementation,emphasis should be put on the creation of situation and activities,to allow student solve the problem in the independent,cooperative and inquiry learning atmosphere.In order to understand the current situation of high school Chinese background knowledge teaching and the application of the “background reduction method”,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on the first and second grade students and high school Chinese teachers in Chaoyang District.As the result shows,syudents are not so active and they are lack of ways of searching for materials.Their ability to adopt analyze and apply the materials is weak,but they are generally eager for contextualized and new teaching methods.For teachers,although there is a willingness to try to apply the “background reduction method”,the practice method is single,and the development of students’ autonomous learning ability is neglected.In view of these problems and combined with the author’s teaching practice,the application of the “background reduction method” in high school Chinese teaching is explored,that is,to cut into the background with the situation,design the task to show the background,and use the flip to discuss the background.Through the process of practice,understanding,re-practice and re-understanding,the author designed three typical practice cases based on “background reduction method”and carried out practical verification.Two classes in senior One were selected to carry out experimental research for a semester.After the experiment,the influence of the“background reduction method” intervention on Chinese teaching in senior high school was evaluated through the comparison of test scores and the analysis of survey data.The experimental results showed that the “background reduction method” teaching was helpful to improve students’ scores and their ability to use and think.
