Mathematical Olympiad primary and secondary education has been the focus of widespread concern in the community topic,we mixed views on the controversy after another.On the one hand our country is the traditional international mathematics competition powers,in recent decades,the Chinese sent to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad(Intern,issued a different voice.For this reason,I believe that the current situation is an urgent need for education of the Mathematical Olympiad qualitative and quantitative research,so that the public can rationally competition mathematics education,but also want to be able to provide a reasonable basis for the government to develop policies to guide its healthy development for mathematics contest.Yangtze River Delta is China's economy is highly developed land ational Mathematical Olympiad,referred to as the IMO)of the basic team can get first or second place,it can be said Chinese students' mathematics achievement renowned Chinese and foreign competition;the other hand,there are some experts and parents Primary and Secondary Education Olympiad questioned the district,but also the leader of Olympic mathematics education in China Mathematical Olympiad National Team coaches distributed in more than half of the region,while students from the region also frequently represent China in the IMO wins gold,and Nanjing is a leader in this area,with a large representation.Therefore,Mathematical Olympiad education research status in this area will help us to understand the current situation of China Mathematical Olympiad Education.It questionnaires in a famous Mathematical Olympiad training institutions in Nanjing conduct research.4,5,6 respectively talented students in grades three classes(ranked located in Nanjing,the top 5%of the outstanding students),particularly strong class(Nanjing top 20%)and some ordinary students as sample questionnaires and use spssl7.0 and Excel for data processing,analysis Elementary School Students Mathematics Olympiad learning relationship with their academic achievement.The same time with China Normal University professor of mathematics textbooks difficulty Bao Jiansheng model difficulty of Jiangsu Primary Mathematics Olympiad textbooks and teaching materials were compared and analyzed to quantify,and get the following conclusions:(1)Mathematical Olympiad Mathematical Olympiad students score better motivation and strong interest;Difficulty(2)Primary School Mathematics Olympiad textbooks is significantly higher than the difficulty of Jiangsu primary school textbooks;(3)Mathematical Olympiad academic achievement and school pupils have obvious relevance;but after the Olympiad score reaches a certain level,the school's academic performance will not be able to reflect its performance is good or bad Olympiad.(4)the degree of the child's parents learn Mathematical Olympiad have a certain influence,as follows:higher educated parents,are relatively more concerned about the child's Mathematical Olympiad education,the child's grade point average is also more excellent Mathematical Olympiad.For the above findings and analysis,this paper Mathematical Olympiad for primary education in Nanjing suggestions and reflection,to strengthen the cultivation of students' interest in learning,constantly updated educational philosophy,the family should pay full attention to the child's intellectual development.In addition,for different children,we should control the learning difficulty,suitable for the actual situation of the development of personalized learning program,so as to promote the healthy development Mathematical Olympiad Education foundation.
