Socialization activities integration curriculum is a kind of preschool curriculum pattern which was founded by Hsiong Hui-Ying after lots of experiments in the 1950s and 1960s.This achievement is rooted in the localization study of curriculum based on preschool educational scene of Taiwan.The practice and theory of Hsiong Hui-Ying's preschool curriculum,as long as her experiments and explorer for getting rid of Taiwan's chaotic curriculum have a significant value for research and reference.This paper takes Hsiong's socialization activities integration curriculum theory as the research object,mainly using literature method,historical analytic method,complementally by interview,observation method.The former four parts presents the overall architecture of socialization activities integration curriculum:The first part talks about the background of social integrated activity curriculum,which is the realistic foundation of this paper;The second part discusses it's ideological source on both theoretical and institutional level;The third part introduces its formation process in detail,hoping to reflect the ethos of this theory which is given by era;The fourth part emphatically explains Hsiong Hui-Ying's view of curriculum,while systematically analyzing the curriculum on definition,goal,content and implementation.Finally,in order to further highlight its academic value and practice significance,the fifth part summarizes its historical significance,expounds its historical status,analyses its inheritance of the theory and practice achievements of Chinese preschool curriculum reform in 1920s and 1930s,presents the ideal model of children activity knowing as "children-led joyful learning" which is produced by Hsiong's curriculum experiments,and discusses the main reason of the restriction of its promotion.This paper also analyses its reference value on mainland preschool curriculum's development in the angle of adapting present national condition,meeting the new era preschool education demand,and better development for kindergarten-based curriculum.
