In this project in order to make the experiment teaching for students strengthen the consciousness of scientific inquiry, cultivate the innovative spirit and practice ability, the require of the new curriculum reformation to chemical experiments is at first investigated. The results show that new curriculum possess higher aspire to inquiry ability and examine for students than previous one. Then the characteristics of the exam question of chemical experiments in university entrance examination under new curriculum are investigated. The teaching idea, sush as the attention to foundation, the knowledge integration, learn to explore, focus on the actual, is very important in the implementation of the chemical experiment teaching. Further the validity of the application of this teaching idea to experimental teaching is investigated on the student exercitation base using new teaching model accorded with the requirements of the new curriculum.The process is as follows:(1)The investigation of requirements to chemical experiments under the innovation of new curriculum.This study researches mainly the experimental contents, which referred to 《Instruction Book of College-matriculation Outline》and 《Innovation Curriculum in Secondary School》and so on. It is found out the requirements of the new curriculum reform to the chemical experiment by consulting of experts who are have an intimate knowledge of new innovation curriculum as well as the documental referring form the study.(2)Study on the characteristics of the test questions for chemical experiments in the college matriculation.The score, the content, characteristics of the college matriculation about chemical experiment test during nearly three years at provinces and cities are investigated under new curriculum. The conclusion is that the new-innovation curriculum examination inclines to increase score proportion, improves inclusive contents, strengthen fundamental knowledges and skills, paies attention to exploring, openness and STS capabilities.(3)Further the experimental teaching is studied by means of the constructivism theory and our results.The teaching idea, such as the attention to foundation, the knowledge integration, learn to explore, focus on the actual, is presented and is applied to the design of the experiment courses.(4)The new classroom teaching model is designed according to our teaching idea. The validity of this teaching mode is verified by the detection and exchange dialogue after the investigation course, taking the students of the teaching practice base as the research target.The our research show that the new curriculum has the new require to the chemistry experiment teaching. It is necessary to permeate the new teaching idea, such as the attention to foundation, the knowledge integration, learn to explore, focus on the actual, into the experimental teaching design. The results from our research show that our experimental teaching mode can learn to explore methods, and improve the abilities of inquiry, further cultivate the creative spirit, and improve scientific literacy for middle school students.
