Research On The Social Adaptability Of Tibetan College Student Village Officials

College Student Village Officials refer to graduates or previousuniversity graduates who are dispatched to the rural areas (includingcommunity) as the village party branch secretary, assistant to the villagehead or "two committees" of other villages. Tibet Autonomous Regionbegan to select College Student Village Officials from college graduatesin2008and the first batch was about284people, every year about300people are hired since the first batch of the public entrance examinationrecruiting. Up to the first half of2012, a total of more than1260CollegeStudent Village Officials work in the grassroots rural of Tibet. In thispaper, the College Student Village Officials working in Tibet are selectedfor the study. The paper mainly studies in Student Village Official’spolicies and their social adaptation through questionnaires, interviews andsurvey methods. The core content of this paper includes the followingfour parts, the first part, description in detail about the Student VillageOfficials’policies and development, making a detailed introduction to thebackground on the implementation of the policy of Student VillageOfficials from Tibet University. The second part, through interviews andresearch on the status of Student Village Official from Tibet University,some Student Village Officials are found that they have a better ability toadapt, but the problem of adaptation can not be ignored, mainly focusing on environment, live, work and spirit. The third part, the reasons for theStudent Village Officials’ maladjustment are analyzed and summarized,coming up with the reasons of poor adaptation of Student VillageOfficials. The first reason is Tibet’s special geographical location andregional situation; the second is their own deficiencies of the StudentVillage Officials, the third is Student Village Officials’ social rolesdisorder, the fourth is imperfect system in Student Village Officials’policies. The fourth part, from the Student Village policy makers, StudentVillage Officials, the organization and management department of theStudent Village Officials, put forward specific recommendations andmeasures on the problem that how to improve the adaptability of theStudent Village Officials.
