Commercial illustration is widely used in domestic and foreign illustration design.It is not only colorful and interesting,but also can make the audience feel the emotions and thoughts expressed by a simple picture,and give people a visual impact,thus consumers can get the most important information in a short time.Nowadays,language art,is becoming more and more diversified,so that each work of commercial illustration can be a whole and express an emotion independently.Commercial illustration works with different styles can also convey different emotional experiences to the audience.Compared with text and film and television advertisements,commercial illustrations can spread information quickly and conveniently in a more interesting way,meanwhile with a lower cost.Therefore,they are widely spread and applied.Nowadays,the combination of commercial illustration and modern digital hand-drawing technology is developing rapidly with multiple ways of creation and changing styles.Celluloid,a kind of commercial illustration style,is characterized by simple lines and bright colors,which are also the main style features of commercial illustrations in Japan and Korea.The purpose of this topic is to analyze the Celluloid style.We studied the characteristics of Celluloid style in modern commercial illustration,analyzes and compares it with other illustration styles,and explores its development direction and trend in the future commercial illustration industry.Besides that,we aim to explore that whether it can occupy a dominant position in future commercial illustration continuously.Based on the above study,we will have a more clear explicit cognition about Celluloid style and its impacts on the second reform of commercial illustration industry.
