In this paper,the thematic teaching model is used to explore new ideas of culture teaching,in order to solve the problem of the imbalance of cultural knowledge,cultural experience and language knowledge in the current teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Under the guidance of the thematic teaching mode,taking the senior international students of Qingdao University as the teaching object,the teaching text and teaching plan are designed,the classroom activities are designed by the method of performed culture teaching and task-based teaching.The practice is guided by the thematic teaching mode,and the feasibility of the thematic teaching mode is reflected through practice,so as to put forward feasible suggestions for the future classroom practice of cultural courses.The first chapter mainly introduces the purpose,significance and research methods of the topic,summarizes the previous research on the thematic teaching model,thematic teaching model of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and traditional festivals,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the current research.The second chapter analyzes the applicability and feasibility of the thematic teaching mode and the theme of the Spring Festival to determine the content of the theme.The third chapter analyzes the teaching objectives and teaching objects,and formulates the teaching text of the Spring Festival theme under the guidance of the thematic teaching model.Modern educational technology is used to determine vocabulary,example sentences and chapters that meet the level of students,so as to provide support for teaching plan design.The fourth chapter explains the application of thematic teaching mode in teaching practice,and shows the content of specific teaching plan.The fifth chapter describes the design of the questionnaire.Through the questionnaire feedback from students,reflects and summarizes some of the problems in the teaching process.The last chapter is the conclusion.Through practical exploration,it is found that the thematic teaching model is suitable for the teaching of cultural courses for advanced-level foreign students in China.With the help of themes,students have systematically learned and experienced the Chinese New Year’s language knowledge,cultural knowledge and customs activities,and memorized the learning content through themes,and achieved good teaching results.
