A Study Of Four-character Idioms In Taigu Dialect, Shanxi

The Taigu dialect belongs to the Jin dialect.It is quite distinctive in terms of pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar,and it has rich vocabulary resources.This paper selects the four-character-pattern idioms in Taigu dialect,and analyzes it from the aspects of structure form,phonetics features,semantic features and grammatical functions.And discusses the connotation of folk culture contained in the four-character-pattern idioms.From the content point of view,the article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which gives a brief introduction to the human geography,dialect characteristics of Taigu County and research status of related content.It also explains the significance and research methods of this paper.In the research status,the nature and characteristics of the four-character-pattern idioms are summarized,which provides the judgment criteria for the following research.The second chapter to the fifth chapter are the core part of the article,they are the objective description of linguistic facts.The second chapter studies the structure of the four-character-pattern idioms,and sorts out the basic structure types such as composite,superimposed,additive and“Ge”.And based on it summarizes the structural characteristics of the four-character-pattern idioms.The third chapter to the fifth chapter respectively explain phonetics features,semantic composition and features,grammatical functions of the four-character-pattern idioms in Taigu dialect.It focuses on the semantic features of the four-character-pattern idioms,and summarizes it has the characteristics of symmetry,descriptive,image,and derogatory.The sixth chapter begins with the relationship between language and culture,and discusses the folk culture connotation contained in the four-character-pattern idioms of Taigu dialect,which is an extension of this article.Through the four-character-pattern idioms of Taigu dialect,it can reflect the characteristics of folk culture in the local natural geographical environment,agricultural production,animal cognition,daily life and other aspects,and some of the characteristic words also reflect the cultural psychology of the local people.The conclusion part briefly summarizes the main content of the article,and it also points out the innovations and shortcomings of this paper.This paper collects the four-character-pattern idioms by means of field survey,and analyzes it from the perspective of modem linguistics on the basis of reference to excellent research results,hoping to do something for the study of Taigu dialect vocabulary.
