The idiom of the Oirad dialect was formed by the Oirad people on the basis of describing their hometown and natural environment, summarizing their life experiences during the long period. This paper collects 224 idioms from folktales, stories, essay, poems and relevant folklore studies documents of Mongolians living in Xinjiang, among them,50 idioms and 72 varieties were chosen specifically to be used for categorizing their different semantics and varieties, analyzing their structural features. And at the meal while, explorative discussions and analysis of the correspondent forms between Xinjiang Mongolian and common Mongolian language is also embodied in the paper.This paper consists of five chapters.Introduction part states the goal, the significance, research overview, research methods, and discourse materials of the subject.Chapter one. This part primarily chooses 50 idioms and 72 varieties from the collected 224 idioms from Oirad dialect. Then, the author will categorize and enumerate the varieties of the idioms, which will contribute to the semantic categorizing of the idioms. The author primarily explores the semantic categorization and the varieties of the idioms in the paper.Chapter two mainly research on the structural styles of the idioms of Oirad dialect. In this chapter, the author will categorize the idioms into noun-predicate form, adjective-predicate form, numeral-predicate form and verb-predicate form on the basis of the main words of the idioms. Furthermore, the author will also analysis and discuss from the view of make-up form of the idioms by categorizing them into coordinate structure and composite structure.Chapter three.In this chapter, the author will prudently and dedicatedly choose 50 idioms with distinguish local characteristics from the 224 idioms of Oirad dialect to conduct thorough and comparative analysis of the similarities and differences of the chosen idioms and the common Mongolian idioms. Then, the author will enumerate the corresponding words of the common Mongolian to specialty words of the Oirad idioms (those words with international) and make semantic description. In the third part of the chapter, the author will conduct comparative analysis of the different expressing methods between the Oirad idioms and common Mongolian idioms.At the end, the author will summarize the paper and refer to the future work of the research. |
