As a basic element of contemporary Chinese literature and art,“war cultural form”has an extraordinary significance.It has appeared in literary and artistic works many times and plays a role of educational aspect imperceptibly.Films,as a new form of mass culture communication,can intuitively and truly reflect the war scenes in a vivid way.However,the traditional military films were limited by the former ideology and it was inevitably filled with political tendency to some extent.It is significant for the current military films to reasonably integrate the theme of the film with the mainstream values making for meeting audiences’ entertainment requirements and audience can understand or accept the values revealed in films simultaneously.In the film Wolf Warriors II,the magnificent violent visual feast not only greatly improves the viewing quality,but also makes the film more brilliant because of the naturally expressed patriotism connotation.It can be said that it really achieves a high degree of unity of artistry,ideology and entertainment.At present,there are few academic studies refer to this film.This paper attempts to make a deep analysis of Wolf Warriors II from the perspective of violence aesthetics in order to provide referential significance on the development of approaching domestic military films.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the reasons for choosing this topic and the current research background.In addition,this part also shows the research methods and innovations.The second part is the development of violence aesthetics film,which explains the meaning of violence aesthetics,and shows the background of creation of violence aesthetics.The third part begins with the analysis and summary of the aesthetic characteristics among military films in different historical periods by sorting out representative military films in different periods of New China.Besides,This Chapter tries to explain the process of transforming the aesthetic style of domestic military films into violent aesthetics.The fourth part is foremost to the paper.This part explores and analyses the abundant violence aesthetics in the film from threeaspects: audio-visual language skills,violent narrative and different feelings of violence created by different roles.In the part of audio-visual language skills,the presentation forms of violence aesthetics in Wolf Warriors II are analyzed from the perspective of film narrative like color and light,lens language,music expression and meaning.In the part of violence narration,which from the perspectives of violence promoting narrative,violence deepening theme and the resolution of violence,aiming to explain the role of violence in promoting the plot and the manifestation of violence for the theme.Different roles create different feelings of violence from the perspectives of entertainment under the violence and arousing sympathy and reflection,this paper in order to explore and consider the acts of violence of different tapes of characters.The fifth part summarizes the shortcomings and advantages of Wolf Warriors II in some ways and state how does domestic military films draw lessons from Wolf Warriors II through the practical example.On this basis,the paper puts forward suggestions on the development of domestic military films in the future.
