The Narrative Analysis Of Wolf Warrior 2

The most notable Chinese film of 2017 is "Wolf warrior 2".The film earned a total of 5.68 billion yuan.Not only has it set a record for the Chinese box office,it has the highest attendance record,but it has also topped the top 100 worldwide box office,making it the only non-hollywood blockbuster in the world.At present,there are few academic researches on this film,especially the research on the content itself and the production level.In this paper,the author tries to make a deep analysis of this work with the relevant theories of film narratology,so as to provide some inspirations for the development of Chinese films.The main body of this paper consists of six parts,and the film charm of "Wolf warrior 2" is expounded from several angles.The first part is the introduction,briefly introduces the reasons and purpose of the topic selection and the research status at home and abroad.Starting from the second part,we have entered the focus of this article.This part analyzes the narrative features of the film from four aspects: narrative context,narrative content,narrative structure and narrative language.The narrative context,from the social historical environment,the realistic background produced by the film and the director's personal experience,analyzes the formation of the film context.The part of narrative content,from the theme of the film and the characterization of the characters of the two aspects of the system analysis.In the meantime,the film is compared with Hollywood hero movies,looking for the difference of the "Chinese" hero movie.The narrative structure,with the help of Syd field's traditional three-stage structure and the causal linear structure of Li Xianjie,finds out the characteristics of the structure of the movie plot.Part of the narrative language,from the visual auditory skills of the film,to the picture lens,the sound coordination of the in-depth analysis.The end of the article is epilogue.This section summarizes the previous chapters.The author believes that Wu Jing's “Wolf warrior 2" is a model of commercial film in the new era,which is closely related to the social environment and the director's personal experience.The film chooses the theme of patriotism,and uses prominent and typical characters to foil the film,which stimulates the strong emotional resonance of the audience.The content of the film is presented in a clear and orderly way through three-stage plot setting and causal structure setting,with finely crafted images and appropriate sound effects,a deep humanconscience was created.From the narrative analysis of “Wolf warrior 2",not only help us to understand the deep reason behind the film huge buzz,can also be for the creation of the Chinese film with a new cognition,thus to create more benefits for Chinese film to provide some thinking and to the outstanding works.
