Humanities documentaries have always been an important part of the documentary market in China.Different regions,different periods have different expressions characteristics from the form of expression,subject choice,writing perspective and audiovisual art.The humanity social documentary film is an important branch of the humanities documentary.Because of its concern for the living conditions and human ecology of ordinary people,it has an important position in the domestic market.On the basis of the living condition of the real and objective fishermen in Dali,Yunnan,the documentary Cormorant is a humanity social documentary film.The film captures the fishermen's culture of the Erhai village as "the Land of the Cormorant ",adopts the direct cinema shooting technique,and uses the method of follow shot to record the last " cormorant domesticator" synchronically in Erhai,Dali.By describing the living conditions of these fishermen,this film aims to express the changing relationship between people and animals,people and the environment,and between people,thus demonstrating the problem of macro environmental protection and individual interests.The picture seems to describe the cormorants,a group of animals degraded by the locals.In fact,it reflects the spiritual world of the characters.Through detailed expressions,the camera records the specific and vivid daily scenes and focuses on the composition of the relationship between the environment and the human.With its rich national color,the documentary strives to form a complex and ambiguous context,allowing us to face the reality of existence.Adhering to theme of " cormorant 's survival dilemma ",the work Cormorant closely recordes the fishermen's life of the Bai nationality in Dali,Yunnan Province.Starting from the main character " cormorant performance" and its crisis of cancellation,non-fictional image creation is carried out.Focusing on the creative practice of documentary,the paper inherits and develops documentary aesthetics by a specific method of creation and a combination of theory and practice.In general,this article can be divided into five chapters: The first chapter is the introduction,which analyzes and interprets the the documentary Cormorant from the perspectives ofcreative background and reasons,literature review and analysis of works,creative value and its significance,research methods and innovation points;The second part is about the pre-planning of the documentary Cormorant,consisting of the preparation of the work,the analysis of the characters,the subject,the shooting ideas and the determination of the work plan;The third and fourth chapters are the key parts of this paper,which analyze the documentary Cormorant in detail from the medium-term shooting and post-production.The medium-term shooting mainly covers the preparation of shooting plans,the selection of shooting equipment,the selection of recording equipment,the selection of auxiliary equipment,the way of shooting,and the shooting content;The fourth chapter is mainly elaborated through material management and analysis,the establishment of editing manuscripts,editing process,sound processing and subtitle production.The last part is a summary and conclusion of documentary making.Through the study of the creative process,we summarize and reflect on it in order to offer valuable experience for documentary filming industry based on social and human subjects.
