| The practical material of this thesis is selected from the second chapter of “The Analysis of Chinese Ancient Poetic Culture: Selected Works of Literary Translation” by Marina Yeh Ghanyevna Kravzova.This article explores the origin of Chinese multi-ethnic culture,whose Chinese translation helps Chinese people and professional sinologists to better understand the origins of the Chinese nation in the eyes of the Russian people and Russian sinologists.The selected translation material is an article of scientific genre,which is characterized by strict language,long and difficult sentences,more annotations and a certain literary style.This thesis adopts the translation strategy of domestication.Under the guidance of such strategy,the translation conforms to the expression habits of Chinese language and follows the translation principles of deciphering,reorganizing sentences and building space.In addition,the innovation of this thesis is to pay attention to the retroversion of Chinese culture-loaded words.Because there are a lot of vocabulary with Chinese characteristic and cultural phenomenon in the source text,the author tries to restore the vocabulary and reflect the cultural connotation covered by it.The translation strives to be smooth and loyal to the source text,adopting the method of sentence reconstruction to accurately convey the original information according to the requirement and finally verifying whether it conforms to the logic of the source text.The purpose of this translation practice is to understand the translation process,combine different translation methods to accurately convey the meaning of the source text and have a new comprehension of the origin of ancient Chinese nation.Through this translation practice,on the one hand,the translation ability of the author has been improved,especially in how to translate academic texts;on the other hand,the author learned to use a translation strategy to guide translation practice. |
