Handel is one of the most important composers in the Baroque period whose creative themes cover operas,oratorios,orchestral works,chamber music works,etc.Handel created a great quantity of opera works,which played a significant role in the development of Bel canto in the Baroque period.Handel's time is the critical period of the development of the Bel canto,his works have played a great impetus to the development of the Bel canto which have played a very important guiding role in the later vocal education.Whether it is the breath control in Bel canto or the application of singing skills is both reflected in Handel's works.Opera performers can greatly improve their vocal skills by singing and practicing Handel vocal music works.This paper mainly analyzes the role of the protagonist "Alcina" in the opera "Alcina" in order to experience the creative techniques of Handel in the process of creation.Besides,the paper analyzed and sorted out the stage practice in the form of records which are based on the author's actual performance experience.This paper consists of a total of three chapters:This paper briefly combs the life and works of Handel,the characteristics of creation and the background of the creation of "Alcina".Chapter two:This part analyses the character analysis of the character "Alcina".It analyses and sorts out the singing style and skills of the whole character by singing the aria "Ah,my heart".Chapter three:This part records the author's stage practice in Vienna Muth Theater and the Bulgarian National Opera House from the analysis of the oretical knowledge back to the experience in the process ofpractice.
